“You’re so full of shit,” I say, watching her face as she tries to stand her ground.

It’s so fuckin’ hot how she thinks she holds all the power, when really, she’s at my mercy. She just hasn’t figured that out yet and I’m too much of a “gentleman” to take what I really want. I snort at the idea. “You can’t keep your fuckin’ eyes off me.”

“Listen to you.” She laughs like I’m hilarious. “You sound like you need to take a chill pill.”

I roll my eyes. “Chill pill? Really? Isn’t that like nineteen ninety-five all over again?”

“I don’t know,” she scoffs. “I wasn’t born back then.”

I shake my head. Beads of water run down her face as I struggle to keep my eyes on hers.

She’s beautiful. There is no denying it. But she’s here to tempt me, and now that things are on the up and up with Cash and we’re getting along, I don’t want to fuck things up. The other part of my brain tells me that I’m a grown man and I can do what I want and fuck the rules. It’s not like I’ve ever listened to them anyway.

But she also just insinuated we fuck.

“Back then,” I chuckle. “You make it sound like it was fifty years ago.”

She stands there and dries herself off right in front of me. Her towel moves over her breasts and down her torso as my eyes trail her movements.

Walk the fuck away.

“I’d rather hear about how I should stay away from you. That sounded more fun.”

“There ain’t nothin’ fun about me, let’s get that straight right now.”

She glances down my body very obviously, her gaze landing on my crotch. “I bet that thing’s fun.”

She’s baiting me. That’s what she’s doing.

I smirk, keeping calm, even though my palms are itching to touch her. To pull her bikini strings aside and devour those tits until she begs me to fuck her.

“You won’t be findin’ out.”

She rolls her eyes. “Too good for it?”

“Nope. But once we fuck, you’ll be ruined for any other man.”

Her eyes flick up to mine as her lips part, and she starts to laugh. “Do you practice that line in the mirror?”

I smirk. “Do I look like the kind of guy who needs to practice anything in the mirror?”

She shrugs. “Maybe you do.”

“No, but the last chick I made come watched me fuck her in the reflection of a ceiling mirror. I guess you could say that was fun. I fuck hard, princess.” Okay, that was a year ago, but she doesn’t need to know that.

Her lips part, eyes sparkling. “You’re a bad boy, Rock,” she whispers, clearly turned on by my words.

I snort. “Don’t romanticize it. I’m not good, Aspyn. Know that. Hear it. You don’t want this.” I don’t mean to make it sound so harsh, but there is truth to it.

She’s serious for a second. “I… I don’t believe you’re bad. It’s not possible.”

“You’ve known me for seventeen hours. You can’t possibly know that.”

“Yes, I can,” she argues. “I get vibes.”

I chuckle. God, she’s cute. “Vibes?”

“Yes.”
