He frowns. “I don’t know…”
“We’ll all be there, Rock too.” She flings her arm out to me but keeps her gaze locked on Cash’s. “And we’ll promise to be good little girls.”
I roll my lips.

“It’s a salon,” Deanna goes on, her tone a little firmer. “Nothing bad is gonna happen. It’s hair color, for heaven’s sake.”
He stares at his wife, and I almost feel like I should make myself scarce. Then he says, “Fine. But you know what you owe me later.”
