“Tango…” he whispered reverently—like my name was something to be worshipped. My cock throbbed in my sweatpants.

Fuck, I couldn’t get enough of how much my boy needed me. I was the air he breathed, and he was mine.

Tearing my mouth from his, I spun him around to face the bed. He shivered when I gripped the hem of his sweaty t-shirt and began to slide it up his torso until I could tug it over his head. It fluttered to the floor in a wrinkled, damp heap.

His heated, sweaty skin beneath my palm had my own shiver running down my spine as I pressed him down onto the mattress. My boy groaned, his fingers curling into the comforter as soon as he was flat. I slid his sweats down next, his boxer briefs following right behind, and he moaned like a porn star when I pressed two fingers against his slick hole.

He was still ready from this morning. Fuck yes.

“Please,” he begged, his voice a mere whine as he arched his back, pressing against my fingers until they slipped right inside of him. He moaned again, his head turning to the side so he could look behind him. Look at me. “I want you, Tango. Please.”

“I’ll never get enough of how prettily you beg me, baby boy,” I rumbled as I pushed my sweats down my legs, my cock slapping against my torso, precum smearing into my shirt. Knowing my boy preferred it when I was shirtless, I quickly tugged the fabric over my head, letting it fall to the floor on top of his.

He licked his lips when I grabbed the lube off the nightstand and began slicking my cock, preparing myself to enter his tight body.

It was going to be fucking amazing. Just as it always was.

Gabriel whined, moaning my name as I pressed the mushroom-tipped head of my cock against his hole. He bore down, his fingers curling even more into the comforter, tugging it out of place as I sank inside of him inch by glorious inch.

“You take me so fucking well, baby,” I praised, running my hands over his body like he was the rarest gem in the world—one unseen for centuries. One gemologists thought would never be seen again.

“Fuck me,” he panted, arching up on his tiptoes. A mix between a groan and a moan crawled up my throat at the change in angle.

“As you wish, sweet boy,” I rumbled.

And then, I proceeded to wreck both of our worlds, slamming my hips against his perky ass over and over and over again until he made a mess of our bed and I was able to stuff him full of my cum, marking him as mine for the second time that day.

I carded my fingers through Gabriel’s hair and angled his head back a little so he was looking up at me. I could feel Sophia’s eyes on us from her position behind the register, where she was ringing up an elderly lady’s books and chatting quietly with her about the last book she’d read.

I had no idea how Sophia dealt with the constant conversations day in and day out. It would drive me up the wall.

I’d proven time and time again that I wasn’t fit for society. The only person I seemed to be fit for was Gabriel.

“Do not leave the store,” I reminded Gabriel. I knew he knew the rules, but it made me feel better to reiterate them to him, and I knew he preferred it that way, too. “If you want something to drink, come get me first so I can make sure there’s no caffeine in it.” The newer barista Sophia had working the coffee and bakery area accidentally made Gabriel a cup of caffeinated coffee when it was in the evening time, and Gabriel had the hardest time going to sleep because of it, which made the next day a pretty shitty one since he was tired and overstimulated.

“And you come to me with your books before deciding to ring them out. Clear?” I’d become a little more lenient about the books he read. We were back to relying on trigger warnings, but if a book was suspenseful in the slightest, I personally messaged the author to see if there was anything in it that might be triggering for Gabriel that had been skipped in the trigger warning list provided.

He nodded when I loosened my grip on his hair. “Clear,” he assured me.

I leaned down and softly kissed him before releasing him altogether. “Go.”

He spun on his heel and headed straight for the romance section. I heard Chase greet him as Sophia walked over to me. I crossed my arms over my chest, watching as Gabriel settled himself on the floor in front of the gay romance section.

If he was taking a seat on the floor, we were going to be here a while. Lovely.

“Want a drink?” Sophia asked me.

I grunted and nodded. “Yeah, that’d be great. Thanks.”

She flounced off, and Chase took up her spot next to me. I was guessing Halo was in the back of the store somewhere near the backdoor. Didn’t matter how much time had passed since Sophia’s store had been broken into by the Ghosts of Chaos, and she’d been raped and beaten bloody; Chase was no longer taking any chances with her safety.

I’d only done the security routine a couple of times since Gabriel and I had been back home, but Gabriel had been with me the entire time. I was a last resort when the other guys needed a break, which was fine. It was just hard as fuck to not continuously be distracted by Gabriel as he moved around the store, helping Sophia stock books while she dealt with customers.

Gabriel had proven to be… well, he wasn’t good with the customers. At all. He stammered, and his anxiety went through the roof when he was put on the spot. Didn’t matter that he knew the layout of this store like the back of his hand; he would forget where something was the moment a stranger stopped him to ask.

“Prepared to be here until closing time?” Chase chuckled, looking at Gabriel, who was now flipping through a book, his lips pursed in thought.

I sighed. “Never am, but he loves it here, so…”
