He spun around so we were standing face to face, chest to chest. He reached for and grabbed my other hand. "No." His voice was flat.

"Y-you don’t?" I stammered.

"You don’t have to invite me in, Mitchell. That’s not why I walked you back."

"I know that." And I did. I really did. "I’m inviting you in only because I want to. Because… I want you."

His eyes filled with a fierce heat. "You do?"

I nodded feverishly. With every fiber of my being, I did.

"Are you sure?"

I loved how he was making certain I was doing what I truly wanted. It filled my chest with a gooey warmth.

"Positive."

I swiped the access card against the door pad and pushed him inside, kicking the door shut behind us. I lunged at his lips, but he blocked me, planting his fingers between our lips.

"Wait."

CAYMAN

Mitchell jerked his head back, his eyes filling with confusion.

"Wait?" he echoed shakily. "Is something wrong?"

"Nothing’s wrong." I ran my fingers through his silky hair. "It’s just that I don’t want to rush this. It might be the only chance I get to be with you, and I want to make it special."

He broke out into the most amazing smile I’d ever seen. "I’d like that, too."

Silently, he led me to the master suite where he had been sleeping and cracked open the sliding door. The nippy night air and sounds of the ocean crashed into the room.

We stood at the foot of the bed. I grazed his cheek with the back of my index finger. "I meant what I said at dinner, Mitchell. You’re perfect and so, so beautiful."

Even with only the bedside lamp filling the dimly lit room, I could see his cheeks pinken.

I dipped my head, my lips meeting the crook of his chin. "You deserve to be treated right…"

I stuck my tongue out, letting it slide across the bottom ridge of his face. "Adored…"

I nibbled my way from his chin toward his ear, riding his jawline like a surfer rode the waves. "Treated like you’re the most precious person in the world." My words melted into his skin.

His fingers dragged through the back of my hair, pulling me up so that our mouths could meet. He flashed me a look of intense wanting as we smashed our lips into each other.

As we kissed, hungrily and deeply, our hands found each other’s bodies, managing to pry our clothes off each other. I wanted to see him naked so badly, but I didn’t want this kiss to ever stop. It was like no other kiss I’d ever had before.

Not just physical. It took me to a place I didn’t even know existed. Where two people could truly join, become one...even if for just one night.

We managed to peel our shoes, socks, and pants off, leaving us in our briefs and shirts. I palmed his bulge, running my hand over the material, teasing the meaty flesh underneath. A gust of wind tore into the room, lifting his shirt ever so slightly. I ran my fingers along his smooth, taut lower belly, drawing a wiggle out of him.

"Ticklish?" I asked into his lips.

"Yeah, a little," he giggled back.

"I can stop." I began to pull my fingers away.
