been a month since his last check-in. We’re worried.”
I’m astonished that the daring, kind-hearted man who
pulled me from danger is a spy. Yet it eases my mind
knowing my rescuers are allies. My emotions are tangled,
unsure whether to feel betrayed or grateful. But one thing is
certain - I’m wrapped up in something far greater than I
realized.
When we finally arrive back at the cabin. Vince puts
the car in park and Vince lets out a sigh. He turns to me, “
Baby girl I promise you I will kill every motherfucker that
has ever touched you. You deserve the fucking world. If

you want to burn the world down. I’ll get you the torch and
smile as my queen does as she pleases”
I smile. Vince makes me feel safe and the only place I
want to be is in his arms. He grabs my chin and pulls me in
for a kiss.
A warm smile spreads across my face as Vince
releases me from our tender kiss, our noses still touching in
affection. “I’m going to run you a relaxing bath, my queen.
Go find some comfy pajamas and I’ll meet you there,” he
says softly. I giggle and reply, “Okay, Vince.” He pulls
away and we get out of the car. As we’re walking up the
porch Vince says, “I do have to tell dad that you know
Asher. That’s all I’m going to tell him.” I nod in agreement As we enter the house, Vince heads straight to the
bathroom to draw my bath, just as he promised. I’m getting
used to this princess treatment. Well I guess the queen
treatment as he says that I’m his queen.
