3 MONTHS LATER
Emma has been training with Marco for three months
now. She’s been getting ever better. She kinda scares me with a knife. Pops had called yesterday and said we need to
come in for a meeting.
That they had eyes on Ian and Joseph. That they were
moving
warehouses again. But this time they are moving
closer to us. Asher is alive but he hasn’t checked in and
we’re not sure why.
So that’s concerning.
Emma is already in my car when I get in. She’s
dressed in all black with a black beanie on. She looks so
cute in it. She was just looking down at her new phone that
I got her a couple weeks ago. Apparently we have to stay
updated on our phones. “Ready,” I ask as I start the car
“Ready as I could be” she sighs and puts her phone in her
pocket. We spent the car ride in silence but it’s a
comfortable one since she’s finally starting to gain trust in
me.
Once we get there, I lead her inside to see a huge screen
with a bunch of pictures of Ian and Joseph. We believe that
they have been preparing to make a move on us soon. As
we all discuss the situation, I can’t help but feel a sense of
dread and unease. Ian and Joseph were getting closer and
closer, making me more and more anxious about their next
move.
