“You want me?” he asked.

“Yes,” I said.

His laughter was low, a sound I felt more than I heard. It vibrated through his chest and straight into me, winding its way around my heart with a sweet ache. "You're so beautiful, Sofia," he murmured against my skin.

There was a rustle of fabric, a whisper of movement, and then the sharp intake of breath when he brushed against me again. But his touch was different this time; raw, intimate, a shared secret in the silence of the night.

He pushed into me slowly, filling me inch by agonizing inch until I could feel him all the way inside. His fingers dug into my hips as he groaned, the sound reverberating through our bodies.

“Grayson,” I gasped out. There wasn’t much room for words between us as we moved together in the stillness of the night. Our bodies spoke in their own language - a symphony of sighs and whimpers, the slick slide of skin on skin, the rhythmic thud of heartbeats echoing each other's fervor.

Grayson was always patient, prolonging our pleasure with his slow pace. Each thrust sent sparks of bliss coursing through me, the anticipation building to an intoxicating crescendo.

His hand slid up my body, fingers tracing a path along my collarbone. He cupped my face, leaning in to seal our lips with a possessive kiss. His tongue tangled with mine, stealing my breath even as his body stoked the flames of my desire.

"Look at me," he murmured against my lips, keeping his gaze locked onto mine. His eyes were darker than I'd ever seen them, the intensity of his desire making them shine like burning embers.

I kept my eyes on his as he moved within me, each stroke pushing us closer and closer to the edge. I could feel the tension coiling within me, tightening with each push and pull of our bodies until I was teetering on the brink of something extraordinary. His thumb brushed across my lower lip, pulling a moan from me that vibrated against his skin.

"Gray," I gasped, clutching at his shoulders as the pressure built almost unbearably. His name was a whispered prayer on my lips as the world started to blur around the edges.

"Let go, Sofia," he urged me, nipping at my earlobe and sending a jolt of pleasure straight down my spine. His words were a command, a plea that left me with no other choice but to surrender to the wave of ecstasy that threatened to tear me apart.

The climax hit me like a tidal wave, ripping through my body with such force that I could do nothing but hold onto Grayson as though he was my anchor in the storm. The world fell away, replaced by nothing but the starburst of pleasure that colored everything bright and brilliant.

I could feel him follow me over the edge soon after, his rhythm faltering before he pushed deep inside me one last time. His groan was raw and primal as he spilled himself within me. He collapsed against my body, burying his face in the crook of my neck as he struggled to catch his breath.

After a long moment, he finally lifted his head, pressing a tender kiss to my forehead. His hand swept up my back, fingers gently tracing over the dips in my spine. "That was..." he started, but trailed off. Words seemed inadequate to capture the enormity of what we'd just shared.

"Amazing," I supplied, tilting my head up to look at him. His eyes were still full of lust, but there was something softer there too... something that made my heart flutter in my chest.

He gave me a soft smile before pressing another lingering kiss to my lips. My arms wrapped around him tighter, not ready to let him go just yet. “Do you think you can sleep now?” he asked.

I nodded, nuzzling into his chest. “Yes,” I said. “I think so.”

And then I immediately fell asleep.

Chapter Twenty-Six: Teo

Sofia and I were having breakfast together in my kitchen, our nonchalant conversation carrying an air of familiarity and intimacy that we had built over time. Our laughter echoed through the house, bouncing off the marble countertops and warm mahogany cabinets. The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the room, mingling with the scent of huevos rancheros, which Sofia loved.

She was sitting across from me at the kitchen island, her dark hair falling in waves around her shoulders, her eyes bright and alive with mischief. She was stunning in every sense of the word, in a way that made my heart stutter and my stomach knot up.

When she looked at me the way she did—like I was the only thing that mattered in her world—it felt like I could conquer anything. It felt like I was invincible. Sofia had this incredible ability to make me feel seen, appreciated even when the rest of the world seemed to be against us.

As I watched her sip her coffee, lost in thought, I couldn't help but smile. She was strong, resilient, and more than anything else, brave. Brave enough to stand against the Viper—her own father, for God's sake—and brave enough to love someone like me. My beautiful Sofia...

“Did you have fun with Grayson last night, Sunshine?”

She chewed on her lower lip. “It would have been more fun if you had been there.”

"Next time," I promised, giving her a wink. We shared a smile over the table, our feet brushing against each other under the counter.

The moment was disrupted by the harsh sound of the doorbell ringing through the house. I glanced over my shoulder to see Sam strolling in. He looked tired, but determined, his eyes scanning the room as if expecting a threat to jump out from any corner.

"Hey," he said, nodding at both of us before turning his attention towards me. "We have some news."

"Good news?" Sofia asked hopefully, setting down her coffee and turning towards Sam.
