Slash coughed and backed up. “A fucking 180. Kitten, I’d call you crazy, but that’s just how we like you, isn’t it?” I held my breath for several seconds, not expecting that reaction. I had expected them to react more like my father had when he started seeing the cracks in Mom’s persona. This result, however, wasn’t only better but meant that I still had a chance at getting fucked.

I grinned at him and then turned my attention to Aeron. He was frozen, trying to decipher who I was. He would be surprised to find that it was just me, Killian, ready to be fucked. The freakout was already old news.

My mind raced with all the places we could soil down here now that the irrational fear of him trying to murder me for finding his secret hidey-hole had subsided. I silently asked my voices if they wanted this one, although I secretly hoped neither one would offer. I wanted this one. Just like I had taken the last one.

Like, right now? I’m kind of trying to get over the fact that you nearly broke when Aeron found you caressing that head.

My little flower…? Maybe…

I shook my head, halting both of their worries. I wanted this now. I told them they had seconds to decide.

We just freaked out on him. It’s not a good idea. You’re hungry. Ask Samael or Slash for food.

I ground my teeth, clenching my jaw as I stared off into space. My fucking stomach could wait. I wanted to be filled in other ways.

Killian, this is a bad idea.

Dark was silent. I knew I was not making good decisions if Daemon was using my name. But Slash had just told me that they liked me a little crazy. I bit my lip, sifting through my thoughts, and then grinned, the happiness spreading across my face.

“Kitten?”

I shook myself back, staring at Aeron. He flinched at the wild expression in my eyes, and I could only imagine that it mirrored the same one I had given him a few nights ago. The one that had terrified the ever-living fuck out of him. His breath was heavy as his eyes searched my expression for answers. I cocked my head to the side, wringing my hands together in anticipation, my eyes pooling with darkness and excitement. “Let’s fuck.”

Slash held up a hand, shaking his head. “We’re not going to graze over the fact that Aeron told you he ate my ex.”

“Oh, that?” I twisted toward him with a wild grin. “He didn’t. I asked where she was because of the dead woman. Jenny? And it just made sense. Did you kill her and then give her to Aeron?”

The serial killer shrugged nonchalantly. “Needed to dispose of her.”

That’s great teamwork on their part.

Anyone want to know why Slash’s ex ended up as one of Aeron’s meals? You realize that if we stop dating these three, we will also be one of their exes.

Then we make sure we don’t stop dating them. Killian, ask if one of them will put a ring on it.

Daemon chuckled at his own stupid joke, subtly trying to distract me from my previous goal but it wasn’t going to work. I cleared my throat and refocused my attention on Aeron. “Alright, we can fuck now.”

AERON

I swallowed carefully, trying to understand what the fuck just happened. I knew crazy. We all were a little crazy but that—I was having a little bit of trouble digesting Killian’s chaos.“Excuse me?” I didn’t want to fuck Killian right now. I wanted answers.

He had met me in the bathroom at work and while he had been trying to play off his usually deviant personality, I saw fear. He was confused and scared, something I never thought I’d see in those eyes.

All that changed the moment we got home. All Daemon wanted was a good hard fuck. I put him to bed, thinking he just needed some rest. Instead, I found him down here, freaking out again, thinking I was going to kill him. I’d never hurt a hair on his head, but either his fear had told him otherwise, or he didn’t care. And now that he knew I wasn’t going to kill him, he somehow had turned off the fear and dialed his hormones up to 100.

This couldn’t be another effect of HMD, the same disorder that Killian’s mother had. Or maybe we just didn’t know enough about the diagnosis to support the man we had all fallen in love with.

The strangest part was that since this morning, while I had thought Daemon had been present in the bathroom, there hadn’t been anyone other than Killian when I looked into my Kitten’s eyes. He was solely himself. He was running the show. I wasn’t sure how to feel about that.

Killian slipped from Samael’s lap, shedding his clothes until he was left with nothing but his boxers, and climbed onto the chest freezer, swinging his legs back and forth, staring at me with bleeding hunger in his eyes. I worried he might be trying to put on a front, but the tent in his boxers squashed that idea. He gripped his package and squeezed it, his eyes rolling into the back of his head as another wild grin spread across his lips.

I couldn’t say I wasn’t tempted.

Slash grunted. “Fucking hell. How the fuck—that’s terrifying.” I had to agree, watching Killian’s demeanor change on a dime from fear to raw desire.

The three of us stood a few paces from the freezer that Killian was now settled on, touching himself, making those juicy little sounds that made me instantly hard. Not one of us knew what to do with this crazy. I sighed, “I can’t. He keeps saying he doesn’t have a breaking point, but that was fucking close. I’m not fucking him right now. I can’t do it.” My dick had other ideas, but I could keep it in my pants a little longer if it meant not breaking our Kitten.

Samael shot me a hard, indecipherable look. “Aeron, deep breaths. You’re not going to break the kid. We just need to get him out of his head—but maybe this time with conversation.”
