“You deserve it,” she countered. “Go on to your first patient. I’ll be there shortly.”
I went about my day, thinking of Allie all morning, and it occurred to me that would probably be the case for the rest of forever.
“Loons!” I went straight to Luna’s desk at work when I arrived, pulling her out of her seat and all the way to the bathroom.
