Jordan looks up at me and smiles. “Yeah…” she says wistfully.

“Please don’t make babies in Hawaii.”

She frowns. “And why not? Don’t want to join in on the fun?”

“Oh, you know I do. But I don’t want to deal with a newborn and two terrible two children.”

She laughs quietly. “Fair point, but no promises.”

We get the babies into the car and we’re on our way to the airport.

Even though the nerves of this whole thing have my chest tight, I know deep down everything will be fine because Vincenzo and Jordan always make sure of it.

Epilogue

Vincenzo

Two Years Later

Jordan and I never got an actual honeymoon. Well, we never got an actual wedding either, but with the babies, who aren’t so much babies anymore as they are terrors, sleeping through the night and on a better schedule, Rafael agreed to stay with them for a long weekend, alone, so Jordan and I could get something relatively close to a honeymoon.

Though, it’s nowhere near our anniversary but it’s the thought that counts.

Spending a weekend in Aspen, just the two of us, is good enough for the both of us. Of course, she feels guilty as hell for leaving Lily and Landon, but she’ll be fine soon enough.

All our things are in the room already, and she’d asked me to run down to the store to get a few snacks. On my way back to the room, all I can think about is snacking on her.

Our sex life has gone through some crazy ups and downs over the last two years with the babies, but I always make sure everyone takes time for themselves. Whether that means alone time or time together.

The kids take up so much of our time it’s hard to remember we are people too, and that’s with the three of us. Can’t imagine doing this alone. I feel for single parents because I’m not sure even I could do that.

I make my way back to the room and find Jordan standing in front of the bed, facing me with a big smile on her face.

“You okay?” I ask.

She nods. I kiss her cheek and hold up the bag of snacks. She wraps her arm around my neck and pulls me to her. I groan against her lips, wrapping my arm around her waist and dropping the bag so I can hold her with both arms.

“I have a surprise for you,” she whispers.

“Is it you bent over on this bed?” I question.

She shrugs, pulling away. “Maybe after.”

She grabs something off the bed and hands it to me. I look down at the shirt in her hand, then at her. She urges it forward. I take it and unfold it.

It’s a plain white t-shirt with words on the front.

Daddy to be…

Now I’ll have three

My eyes widen and I lower the shirt to see Jordan’s beaming face.

“We’re having another baby!” she shouts, bouncing on her feet.

The wave of emotion that hits me is like a freight train. I lunge at her and hug her to me so tightly, kissing her everywhere I can reach.

“I’ve been waiting to tell you for so long.”
