He stepped inside. Turning he locked the door then walked to the front of the house and looked out the window. There they all sat. Three of them to scare one little woman. It pissed him off.

Grace stood back a few feet watching him. He turned and grinned at her. "They came to the Garage and threatened to burn it down if I didn't agree to be exclusive with them."

"Oh my god they are getting worse and worse. What did you say?"

"I told them I'd rebuild it."

Her smile said it all. "Good for you." She stepped closer. "How do you feel?"

"Strong. Determined to see them run out of town."

"Okay. Me too."

A week passed with much of the same going on. The bikers continued to watch them, but Grace and Sid continued to move forward with their plans. Sid bought the house on the bluff from Jace. It was an incredible deal and Sid loved that he'd purchased it from Jace.

Today, they were moving her sofa and bed into the house. Her bed was only a queen size bed, and since the house came with the large king bed that was there when they looked at it, her bed would go in the spare bedroom. She removed the sheets from her bed and dropped them in the laundry hamper to wash once they were at the house. Carrying the laundry basket to the living room she set it on the sofa and looked at her little place. She'd finished her work here and had put it on the short-term rental sites last night. Hopefully she'd have guests soon.

Sid entered the bungalow with Quinn, carrying tools. "Are you ready for me to take the bed apart?"

"Yes. I'll pull my clothes from the closet and dresser and put them in my car."

Quinn grinned. "Where are your guests going to sleep?"

She chuckled. "I have another bed being delivered today. The headboard is more of a beachy vibe and will fit the whole theme here much better."

"You've done a great job here, Grace."

"Thank you. It wouldn't be finished without Jared and Hayden helping me. So, thank you for offering your men to my project."

"Happy to help."

Quinn and Sid went to the bedroom and Grace packed up Chiefy's water and food bowl, the container of dog food, the pig ears she chewed on, and her bed. She placed them in the trunk of her car, waved at the bikers watching them, and went back inside.

They wouldn't be able to get close to the house, that was a bonus not to have to see them each night.

She entered the house and her phone rang. "Hello, this is Grace."

"Hey, Grace, it's Theresa from the Sandbar."

"Hi, Theresa, how can I help you?"

"Jace asked me to let you know that we have things all set for tonight. We'll have a table outside for you to take care of the petition. Hart & the Hurricanes will be here to play tonight, and we've all been promoting it on our socials. We should have a fantastic turnout."

"Thank you, Theresa. Sid and I will be down there early tonight to get set up."

"See you then."

Sid and Quinn entered the living room carrying the mattress. Sid asked, "We're ordering new dishes, right?"

"Yes. I have them ordered and they should be delivered today. Jace has everything set for tonight."

"Perfect."

They moved past her with the mattress and went out the door. She closed it behind them and prepared to take her clothes out to the car. She had plastic totes, which she'd moved here with, now filled with the clothing from the dresser. She picked up the first one and carried it to the living room. The other two totes held her clothes from her closet. She carried those to the living room as well just as Quinn and Sid came back inside.

Without a word they each carried a tote to her car. She grinned. Her heart felt full. She looked at Chiefy, "Ready to go, girl?"
