“Tell me you trust me to take care of you.”

“Mmm,” I shook with need.

He suddenly moved, yanking me until I was on my back, staring up at him. I blinked in surprise. His gaze was dark, possessive, heated.

“Please, Rook.” I whimpered. “I need it…” I wasn't even exactly sure what I needed, except to come. I definitely needed that.

"Shhh," lifting my leg, he began to pump his fingers inside me again, "be a good girl and take it without complaint.”

I bit down on my lip, trying to hold it in as he stroked, building up my desire again.

“Now. Tell me,” his fingers stroked against my sensitive clit. “Promise me you’ll apply for school. Tell me you trust me to take care of you.”

“Rook, please, please.” Clutching the sheets. “Please, I’m begging.” I wanted to weep, I was in so much agony.

“Tell me, Summer.”

“Fi—fine! I trust you to take care of me.”

“You trust me to deal with Saul and the Magnolia.”

“I trust you with them,” I bit out.

“You will cease any texts with Saul.”

“But he?—”

“I will deal with Saul,” he growled out, “I will never let him hurt you or Callie. Now tell me you will do what I say.”

“Oh God, why?”

“Because Summer, you need someone to teach you how to take charge. How to seize control of your life. How to create your own destiny. And I need your trust to be able to teach you.”

“Fine. I’ll do what you say.”

“You’ll trust me to take care of the Magnolia. You’ll tell me everything.”

“Ye-yes!” I was a blubbering mess. “I’ll tell you everything.”

“Good girl.” He pulled his fingers out of me and I wanted to scream! Putting his fingers to my lips, he parted them. "Suck. See how good you taste."

Eyes catching his, I flicked my tongue out, licking myself off him, a low hum in my throat.

“Now, tell me what you learned today.”

“That you have cameras in your office.”

Rich laughter spilled from his lips, rumbling low in his chest.

I grinned, loving the sound, warmth spreading through me. Loving the carefree look on his face.

He was so serious all the time. He needed something to make him smile more often.

He shook his head, flicking my nose softly. “Well, that'll certainly help you in the future. But if you ever hide anything from me again, I'll tan your hide so hard, you won't sit down for a week." There was a soft smile on his face but a dark undercurrent to his words, and I believed him. “Now," lifting me by my ass, he pushed me to my feet. “I need you to get dressed. We're going somewhere."

"Where are we going?” I sighed, feeling resigned.

"We need information, and I have a feeling that only you will be able to get it. Wear the blue dress that matches your eyes."
