“Good evening, Baby girl,” he says in his panty melting voice.

“Evening. Sorry I slept so late,” I reply trying to keep my intense need for him in check.

“It’s okay, baby. You must have needed it.”

“I wonder why,” I say wryly.

“Yeah. Me too. The reason escapes me right now why that would be,” he says, pulling my shoulder free of the robe. He places a gentle kiss on it, before lightly nipping it.

“I bet,” I moan as he moves to my neck, preparing for him to take me when he puts a damper on it.

“Get dressed. We have dinner reservations and a show tonight.”

“Really? Where?” I ask. Going to any type of shows isn’t something I have ever done. It wasn’t my parents’ style.

“Yes. We are leaving at seven,” he says, not answering my question. “You have about forty minutes. Is that enough time to finish getting ready?”

“Of course,” I say, going back to drying my hair. For my face I use a light makeup that came with all of the bathroom stuff Ingrid sent over. Then I make my way over to the closet only in my birthday suit. Inside, Marquise is beginning to knot his tie. Going directly to him, I push his hands away. This is something I use to always watch my mom do for my dad. It was one of the things she taught me how to do. Every woman should know how to do several different knots. She then told me that men like it when you take care of these little things like this for them. Based on his spread collar, I choose a full Windsor knot. He puts his hands on my hips while I tie it.

“Thank you, baby,” he says thickly.

“You are very welcome,” I reply, smoothing the tie and his collar. Afterwards, I assist in putting his square black cufflinks on. He kisses me and then holds up a jewelry box he has taken off the shelf next to him. When he opens it, I am mesmerized by the diamond necklace laying on the velvet.

“I’ve never seen anything so beautiful,” I murmur.

“I have,” Marquise says in a strained voice. I look up into his eyes and see that he’s staring right at me. He takes the necklace out of the box and puts it around my neck while I watch. It’s somewhere between a necklace and a choker, but I love it.

“Thank you, Daddy,” I whisper, turning my lips up to him. His powerful kiss goes through my body and rocks me to the core.

He leaves me standing there in stunned silence. After a moment, I move over to my side of the closet while my fingers are rubbing the necklace. The feel of it has already given me a level of calm I’ve never experienced. Choosing a teal knee-length sleeveless dress to match his tie and a pair of cream-colored peep toe heels to complete the look.

The last piece of my ensemble will be a clutch purse. Marquise bought me two Louis Vuitton Neverfull’s. One white and one brown. I tried to refuse them, but he wouldn’t hear of it. Tonight however, I am using a cream-colored clutch that Ingrid brought with the shoes. I find it weird that she has found things to my taste, even though I didn’t even know what my taste was until I met him. She’s really good at reading people. Once I am finally ready, I proceed to where he’s waiting in the living room for me.

In seven days time, he has somehow managed to get my passport, driver’s license, and social security card delivered to his house. He also gave me a credit card to use and some cash to have on hand. I haven’t been anywhere to use them, but the way he is taking care of me gives me hope that he loves me the way I love him. He wouldn't do all this if he didn’t. Right?

“You look... beautiful,” he says, holding his hand out to me.

“Thank you,” I reply while thinking so does he.

He leads me down to the car and we are off. Chicago at night is beautiful. I have always thought so. The lights and big buildings have fascinated me for an exceedingly long time. In what actually amounted to a short time, at least in Chicago, we are pulling up in front of Chez l'Ami Gerard downtown. It is a high-end fancy restaurant. It is a place that the rich and famous are always at. Proving my point, as soon as we walk in Dominik Kubalík, Blackhawks left wing walks up to Marquise and gives him one of those bro hugs guys always do.

“Marquise, long time no see,” Dominik says with his sexy Czech accent.

“Yeah man, sorry about that.” He glances over at me as he says it, before turning back.
