“With you walking around here looking like that, not getting distracted is an impossibility.” He reluctantly lets me go and starts filling the coffee pot with water.

I smile as I watch him. How can this gorgeous man be mine? I think the universe screwed up somewhere.

“What else do you want for breakfast?” he asks.

“Some clothes, a toothbrush, toothpaste, make-up, soap.”

“I have all of those things here.”

I laugh. “Maybe I should have been more specific. My toothbrush. My clothes. And I don’t know what kind of make-up you have, but I’m fairly certain it’s not what I have in mind.”

“You don’t need make-up. You’re perfect au natural. You have a natural beauty that is just breathtaking, Willow. I don’t see how it’s possible for you to look any more beautiful than you do in this moment.”

I don’t know whether to swoon or to laugh. In this moment, my hair is a wild mess of knots and renegade strands of hair standing up at all angles, and I haven’t brushed my teeth.

But Cameron is completely serious as he stares at me with those intense brown eyes. Okay. Swoon it is.

“I still need some stuff,” I say when the coffee is going. “Can you take me to my apartment in town?”

“All right,” he says with his body tightening. “But I’m not leaving you alone. Not for a second.”

That’s kind of what I was hoping for.

“Things are going to change now,” he says as he puts his big hands on the counter and locks eyes with me. He’s doing the whole possessive, overly protective thing that always gets me going. “You’re my girl now. Do you understand that?”

My head nods up and down, out of my control.

“I took your cherry. I claimed your pussy. That means you’re mine. My mate. My girl. My love. And I’m not going to let any man near you. Especially before I…”

“Before you what?”

He drops his eyes and then turns back to the coffeemaker even though it’s not finished brewing.

“Before you what, Cameron?” I repeat.

He turns around with a fierceness in his brown shining eyes. I think it has something to do with the way he was morphing into his bear during sex. He was fighting something within. Something his bear wanted and he didn’t.

I’m wondering what that is when he suddenly leans over the counter and takes my mouth in a deep claiming kiss.

He has nothing to worry about.

I’m his.

In every way he wants.

There’s no point in fighting it. There’s no point in denying it. I know it’s true.

I want it to be true.

After breakfast, I put on my cold damp clothes and we head over to my place. I’m embarrassed to show it to him since it’s still a mess with unpacked boxes and dirty clothes everywhere.

But Cameron is one of a kind and he fails to see any of my flaws, choosing to focus on the good stuff instead.

“This is you?” he asks as he picks up a picture of me on my bike when I was ten. “You’re adorable. I hope our kids are half as cute as you.”

I’m blushing so much from the compliments and from hearing him say our kids that I can’t even look at him.

“I just moved. That’s why it’s so messy.”

“It’s perfect,” he says as he looks at the boxes piled against the wall. “You’re already packed. Grab what you need for the next few days and I’ll come back and grab the rest when it’s not raining. I don’t want everything to get wet in the back of my truck.”

“What?” It’s the only word I can manage to squeak out.

He looks at me with a hard stare that staggers me. God, his eyes… They get me every time.

“I meant it when I said that you’re my girl,” he says in a dominant voice that shakes me to my core. “You’re living with me now and that’s final.”

I swallow hard as I watch him walk back over to the dresser and look through the rest of my childhood pictures.

He raises an eyebrow as he holds up a picture of me in my cheerleading uniform from high school.

I shrug with a grin on my lips.

“Do you still have it?”

“What?”

“The outfit.”

Oh no… “Yeah. I think.” Let’s hope it still fits.

“Put it on,” he demands.

“No way!” I shout back.

“Please,” he begs with some agony in his voice. “I’ll make it worth your while. I promise.”

He’s got my attention piqued with that, so I search through a couple of boxes until I see the red and white pompoms with my old uniform.

He sits on my rocking chair while I go into the bathroom and slip it on. It’s tight with my breasts popping out of the shirt. I’m a lot fuller in every department than I used to be when I was sixteen.

I leave my underwear on the floor and then strut over to my man, swaying my hips and shaking my pompoms as he stares at me like a hungry man at a buffet.
