After a few minutes, Kendall lets out a moan, and I nearly choke. She covers her mouth and laughs.
"Sorry," she says. “It's just so damn good."
I lick my lips, thinking about how she tastes. “Like you.”
Kendall blushes, then gets up and refills her coffee. She grabs mine and does the same.
“Thanks, babe,” I say.
She grins wide, and I swear her cheeks get redder. "Babe? Hmm. I could get used to that."
“Oh yeah?" I shoot her a wink and empty my bowl.
“Mm-hmm. Though I certainly like it when you call me Angel in the bedroom.” Kendall’s smile doesn’t falter as she finishes her food. “This might put me in a carb coma for the rest of the day."
"Same," I admit, grabbing our dishes and rinsing them in the sink. “What’re your plans today?"
"After being without water for so long, I wanna soak for an hour in that amazing tub," she admits.
“You should. Self-care is important.”
With a nod, she laughs. “Glad Cami had it stocked from the last time she was here a few months ago. Though I did pack extra bath bombs.”
When I think back to how irritated I was about her two suitcases, it makes me laugh. She’s the only one prepared to be snowed in. “I’m sure you are. I regret not bringing more with me now. Speaking of, I’m going to wash clothes so if you have any dirty stuff, put it in the laundry room and I'll take care of it for you,” I tell her.
“That'd be great," she says, humming after she takes another sip of coffee.
After I dry my hands, she comes over and wraps her arms around my waist. I love how she isn’t scared to show affection. Most women are timid around me, so I’m usually the one to make most of the moves in a relationship. This is a nice change of pace.
Kendall's body molds to mine, and when she meets my gaze, I dip down and brush my lips against hers. Our tongues tangle together, and I thread my fingers through her hair, deepening the kiss. While I'm trying not to lose too much control with her, it’s easy to get lost in this isolated world.
By the time we pull apart, we’re breathless, and my cock is hard. Kendall bites down on her bottom lip, then smiles.
“Bath time,” she teases, tugging at the hem of my shirt. “Wanna join me?”
I groan at the thought. “Tempting, but can I take a rain check?” I want to give her time to relax because if I join her, that won’t be happening. Hell, we wouldn’t even make it to the tub at this rate.
She taps her lips with her index finger. “I will this time, but you owe me.”
Her response has me grinning from ear to ear. When she turns and walks away, she purposely shakes her ass more than usual. Before she's out of sight, she winks at me over her shoulder, and I mentally slap myself for turning her down. Just watching her makes my heart race.
With Kendall on my mind, I sit on the couch and pull out my phone. I was so preoccupied while we ate, I didn't realize Eli had texted me.
Eli: Just checking on you, man. Saw more snow was coming. Are you surviving over there?Ryan: I’m actually doing really good. It's been a while since I've had a vacation, even if this one was forced.Eli: That's good. How are you and Kendall getting along?I was waiting for that question, considering my sister knows what’s been going on. She’s probably been talking about it nonstop.
Ryan: Great, honestly.Eli: I'm gonna need more details than that, considering your sister has been giddy as fuck lately.I figured he’d say something like that, but openly talking about relationship stuff isn’t easy for me.
Ryan: I'm taking it one day at a time, but I've realized how much I didn't know about Kendall until now. Makes me feel bad about how I treated her over the years. It was unfair.Eli: I get that. It's like how Cami and I treated each other, and you know how that ended.The two of them used to be at each other’s throats, but I always knew Eli had a thing for my sister. It took being locked in the cabin together for them to realize their true feelings for one another.
Ryan: Yep, you put a ring on it and will probably knock her up soon.I laugh because it didn’t bother me at all when I heard the news. I’m happy for my best friend and sister.
Eli: I wasn’t gonna chance losing her :)
