He kissed her throat, the hollow beneath her ear, and the sweet curve of her jaw. His hand slid across her bare skin, brushing a delicate path to her stomach. He rose far enough to strip the rest of his clothes off. Dani sat up, reaching for him. He grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips with a wry smile and a shake of his head.

“Right now, it has to be all about your pleasure,” he said.

Confusion darkened her eyes. “Why?”

“Because I won’t last long if you keep touching me. Give me this. I… need to love you. You can have your wicked way with me afterwards, I promise.”

She wriggled slightly, shrugging off her torn blouse and bra before she reached up and pulled the band from the end of her braid. She ran her fingers through her hair, loosening it before she laid back and lifted her hips in invitation.

He reached down, pulling her skirt and panties off. Standing back, he caught his first, full sight of her naked on his bed, her dark auburnhair spread across his pillows like he had dreamed about, her arms above her head, and her eyes beckoning him like a siren.

“Se thélo me káthe kommáti tis psychís mou,” he whispered, reverence in his voice.“I want you with every piece of my soul.”

Her breath hitched. “Well, you’d better hurry, because I’m not sure how long I can keep my hands off you.”

He gave a low, rough laugh. “I’m going to take my time,” he teased, crawling over her to press a kiss to her shoulder. “Because you deserve everything, Dani. And I’m going to give it to you. Until you scream my name.” He kissed her behind her ear, lowering his body so she could feel how aroused he was. “Over and over.”

She blushed. God, it was adorable.

Her fingers tightened around his forearm. Her chest rose and fell in quick, shallow gasps, her skin flushed from her collarbones to her cheeks as he lowered his mouth and pressed a kiss over her heart before teasing each nipple until they were taut pebbles.

She moaned—soft, shocked.

It almost undid him.

With aching restraint, he kissed his way down her ribs, pausing at the scar on her side where Zayan had stabbed her. He ran his lips along it.

A shudder ran through her, and she arched into him, threading her fingers through his hair.

“Not yet. Don’t touch me… yet, kardiá mou,” he instructed hoarsely.

“But… I want you!”

“Soon,agápi mou. You must come first,” he promised.

He slid down her hips, kissing each newly revealed inch as she lay bare before him. Her thighs trembled, her eyes dark with desire and frustration at the building tension.

He was painfully conscious of how close he was to losing control—but he had to make this perfect. This wasn’t just about lust. This was about everything he hadn’t said yet.

Sliding his hands under her thighs, he lifted her hips. Before she could question what he was doing, he revealed her sweet nub and feasted. Her breathless cries filled his soul with pleasure. She twistedand turned, fighting the intense sensations ricocheting through her body while marveling at it.

“Alexandros!” she wailed, her body bucking as he tortured her engorged clitoris.

Her breathing became more erratic as he brushed his tongue over her and sucked. His grip on her thighs tightened when she began to tremble uncontrollably, and he knew she was about to come. Her body bowed, her heels pressed into his lower back, and her thighs clamped around his head as she came in one long, delicious orgasm.

Her fingers clutched the bedsheets until her knuckles were white. A soft whimper escaped her lips as he pulled away. She would have to wait to explore his body. He knew he wouldn’t last if she touched him.

Rising over her, he settled between her legs, skin to skin, their bodies lined up like puzzle pieces that had waited too long to be joined, he held himself still—just barely resting against her heat.

“Dani.” His voice was rough. “It might hurt for a moment, but I swear—I’ll go slow. Just breathe with me. Trust me,kardiá mou.”

She nodded, eyes luminous.

“I trust you,” she whispered. “I want this with you, Alexandros.”

He bit back a groan. “S’agapó, Dani. I love you, kardiá mou.”

He kissed her again—slowly and deeply—as he pressed forward.
