'Sounds like a good idea,' he replies, getting up and giving me his hand to help me get up, too.

The warriors mount their horses, ready to move as soon as we are ready, too. I pat my horse, make sure that she is well and ready, and mount it swiftly. Calem is right by my side with his horse.

The cool breeze of the morning starts swaying my hair behind my back, as we start moving. We go walking at first, and then start galloping. I love the scene of the vast green prairie in front of me, giving endless motivation to my horse to gallop freely. The green grass seems like a carpet, squishing under the hooves of the horses. The light blue sky has no clouds; nothing disrupts the perfect light blue color of the sky, making it look like an unwrinkled tablecloth. The sun is also pleasant, not blinding me with its rays, as we are riding to the west, making the sun shine on my back.

Only the sound of the hooves is heard, as all five horses gallop rhythmically. No one speaks, and it is good, because I love riding in silence.

Several hours pass. The sun goes straight up into the center of the sky, and then starts going down in the opposite direction. The color of the sky starts to change gradually. The light blue becomes almost white, and then fluffy white clouds appear in the sky. It is a new way for me not to get bored during the ride – to look at the clouds and imagine them to be animals. Each one resembles an animal. I remember when I and Megan were little we used to lie on our backs in the garden and watch the sky, imagining that the clouds were animals, according to their shapes.

I smile, remembering my childhood and Megan. She still does not know about my adventures in the Bedigalhall Castle and our uncle's death. She will certainly get scared for me, for what he did to me, throwing me into the dungeon, but she will certainly be glad that he does not exist anymore. I have so many things to tell my sister when I see her. Hopefully, I will see her soon, as she will certainly be present on my wedding day.

The sun goes a bit more down, and the sky slowly starts to turn pinkish purple. It is my favorite color of the sky – a warm tone that is pleasant to look at. Soon it will be time to have dinner. I am sure that there will be no more food left after all. But there will be no need for more food, as we will reach the Gharland Castle by tomorrow morning, I guess. And there we will have a normal breakfast in the castle. I estimate that soon we will be there, as we have been riding nearly the whole day without stopping. Our horses must be thirsty, I am sure.

I realize that it is really time for dinner, when my stomach starts making growling noises, as if it is a wild animal and wants to eat. I slow down. Seeing me slowing down, Calem and the warriors also slow down. Calem is right next to me again.

'My sunshine, do you want us to have a break?' He asks.

'Yes,' I say, and we slowly bring our horses to a stop near a stream. The horses seem to be happy to stop. The moment we dismount them, they start drinking from the stream and then looking for good grass to eat.

I and Calem take out the food from the basket and divide into five parts. The warriors take their parts and go to eat in the distance, leaving us alone. We sit down on the green and very soft grass and start eating.

'We have been riding the whole day,' Calem tells me. 'If we continue going so fast, we will be there in the morning.'

'Do we need to ride during the night?' I ask him.

'I think that we will have to ride during the night, too, but not the entire night,' he replies after a short pause. 'So that we will be there by the morning for sure.'

I nod, chewing my food. 'M-hm,' I say. I am eager to ride the horse during nighttime, too. I think if I have some sleep, then I will be able to ride the rest of the night. But for now, we must enjoy our meals and quickly get going again.

'When we reach there, we will be given a nice bedroom, and you will be able to sleep in a soft and beautiful bed, my sunshine,' Calem tells me. I had not thought about it. I look at him with surprised eyes, realizing how comfortable it will be to sleep in the bed, next to him.
