I almost laugh aloud as she takes off in the opposite direction of me, Delilah pointing after her as I slowly stride towards her, avoiding the massive crowd of people.
Let’s be real, if I chased Sienna with a mask on, someone would call the cops on my ass and then Daddy dearest would have to get involved.
So, instead of wearing my Halloween mask from last year throughout Fall Fest, I stick with a hoodie until we’re alone. My smile is menacing as Sienna runs from me to a crowded part of the park, her footsteps heavy as she looks back at me while running.
Her eyes are a mix of emotions, but the one that prevails? Lust. Her hazel eyes are clouded with it as she bites her bottom lip, a sliver of fear laced beneath them.

My phone buzzes, pausing my following momentarily as I pull it out to make sure it’s no one important.

Sighing, I massage my temples, wishing Charlie wasn’t as attentive as I type out a response.

When I look back up to make sure that I do in fact have Sienna, my heart drops when I realize she’s nowhere to be found. I gulp as I come to a standstill in the middle of the grounds where all the funhouses are.

She isn’t going in there…
When my eyes fall on the third and final building, I smile at the sign,Cupid’s Love Maze.
Fitting.
There’s people everywhere as I push inside the maze to chase after Sienna. Couples and friends line the maze, and I almost think that I won’t be able to find her in this frenzy until a blur of pink flashes in my peripheral, heading into the employee only section.
What are you up to, angel?
I follow her carefully, sure to be discreet enough that no one will see us as I follow her into a part of the maze that’s closed off. It takes nothing for me to slide the mask on as I slip in behind her. The room is lit with red and pink lighting, with mirrors all around and a heart shaped, red velvet bed in the center on a spinning showcase.
Sienna stands in the very center of the room, her back to me as I stand behind her, but I can feel her eyes on me through the mirror, watching my every move.
The lights in the room flicker nonstop between pink and red, emanating a strobe light effect as I slowly approach my girl. Loud laughs and cheers echo in the distance just feet away, but in here, it’s only us.
Sienna’s breathing is heavy, her deep inhales and exhales hardening me as I wrap my hands around her waist. She sighs as I pull her curly ponytail from her shoulder, the plastic lips of the mask tickling the skin of her neck, causing her to gasp.
“I’m gonna need you to be very,veryquiet. Think you can do that for me, angel?”
Sienna’s sharp intake of breath is all the push I need to move my hand up her hoodie, gripping one of her breasts as she melts into me.
