She tilted her head to look up at him, blonde hair falling down behind her in waterfall of gold.

“I figured out how to pull all the greenhouse gases in the immediate area into one location. It’s a mini-global warming spell.”

“Isn’t that bad?” he asked, chuckling. She looked so pleased with herself.

“It would be, except it will burn itself out and then the area will be cleaner. It’s like I’m eight extra trees right now. I’m going to have to email Azure about it. She’ll love it.”

“You are practically a forest,” he said sitting down next to her and leaning over to give her a kiss. Scarlet giggled happily as she broke away from him.

“I talked to Albert today,” he said. “Azure is officially invited to the Supernatural summit.”

“Yay! Azure is going to be so excited.”

Liam nodded and looked down at the tablecloth and then at the picnic basket. Food was set out on plates, but the basket, with the red and white check napkin over the top, still looked full. He flipped back the cover on the basket, inside was a slim economics text book.

“Little Red,” he said, “just where do you think we’ll be using that?”

“Well,” she said, clearing her throat and looking anywhere, but him, “I thought we couldtravela teeny tiny bit into the woods and then pop right back.”

“Not exactly right back?” he suggested. “Maybe stick around for a teeny tiny bit of naked time?”

She grinned guilty, and put one finger up to her lips. “Maybe?”

“Scarlet,” he said, and swept her other hand out from under her so that she tumbled backward onto the tablecloth with another giggle. “You are luring me into the woods again.”

Scarlet wrapped her arms around him.

“Yes, Wolf,” she said. “Yes, I am.”
