“Highland, thank you. This is one of the most beautiful gifts I have ever received.” I hooked her chin, wiping the few tears from her eyes.

“You’re welcome. I’m glad you like it. Are you ready?” She nodded then went to pull her door closed, but I beat her to it as I used my free hand to pull the door.

After I got us both situated in the car, I began the journey over the bridge. Of course, our first date would be on the island. In the short time I had known Olive, I knew she loved the beach and the water.

“Wait, are we going to the Keys?”

“Yes. Is that okay?”

Olive giggled lightly as she nodded.

“Yes. Again, knowing very little about the date that you planned, something told me at the very least to bring my swimsuit.” I chuckled as I began to look around for an extra bag but came up empty since I only spotted her purse.

“Where is your bag? Oh shit, wait, did we leave it?”

I watched her carefully as she shook her head while giving me a sly grin.

“No. I already have it on.”

“Getting in the water wasn’t on the agenda, but now I’m thinking of a way to make it happen so I can get a view of whatever you have on underneath that dress. I mean, in a respectful way of course.”

Instantly my mind thought about finally being able to appreciate seeing Olive in the skimpiest piece of clothing legal for the outside world. Since I was driving, I glanced over at her, doing my best to find a strap that stood out on her shoulders or around her neck. When I came up empty, Olive’s sweet giggles rang out between us.

“Highland, stop trying to steal peeks and focus on thinking of a way to get me into some water so you can see it up closewithout this dress on. Besides, you won’t find whatever you’re looking for, I promise I’m good at hiding the most obvious things in plain sight.” I had no idea what she meant by that last sentence but now I was more than curious about figuring that out too.

After the hourdrive across the bridge, we ended up at the dock with me now helping Olive step onto one the yachts I made sure we could use today since I had private parties booked for the others.

“Welcome aboard May Sky,” I said as soon as I stretched my hand out. Olive placed her velvet hand into mine. I closed mine around hers, not wanting to let go.

“Oh my, this is nice as hell, Highland. Do you own this as well?”

“Thank you and yes. I have four in total. This is one of the babies,” I said as I stepped back off, making my way to the cleat, untying the rope.

“If this is a baby, I have to know what you consider massive.” I caught her words just as Olive drifted into the salon room onboard. I chuckled as I looked around for Tate, who would be helping with our take off. Once I spotted him coming, I made my way further onto the yacht as I stood on the deck waiting for Olive to reappear.

“Trust me, I have bigger. The ferry is bigger than this, Liv,” I said with an added smirk just as she made her way back out to the deck.

“True, but that’s transport I expect to be huge, but this is big to me too. Can I get a tour before we grow my sea legs?” I chuckled at her terminology.

“Please don’t tell me Tunk got you using that outdated language too. It’s bad enough he’s got the girls…kids saying it now too. I can’t lose you to the pirate lingo too, babe.” I grabbedher hand to honor her request of giving her a tour. The slip of my tongue had me calling Olive the name I had wanted to give her since I first noticed her.

“Of course not, I’m grown enough to do my own research, and from what my web sources told me, growing legs means setting sail or taking off.”

I chuckled again as we stepped back into the salon.

“Never trust anything online. This is the salon or the main cabin. When my customers rent her out, this is where the main gathering happens.”

“So like a living room per se?”

I tilted my head to the side as I looked at her as she pushed down on the plush cushion before taking a quick seat, doing a little bounce before a wiggle, then standing up. She was cute as she bounced around the room, ending up behind the bar, now going for the bottle of red wine I stocked just for her. I smirked at the act as she nodded in silent approval of the brand I picked out.

“Did I do good with my pick? I wasn’t sure of your favorite brand, seeing how, again, my source for even knowing you liked a good wine was a seven-year-old.”

For a quick second, Olive’s brows dipped in as her face grew tight in confusion until it softened, followed by a sweet giggle that escaped her lips.

“Oh yeah, I almost forgot my son was out here telling my business. I’ve never had this brand, but you can’t go wrong with a Merlot.” I was moving now, reaching for the bottle so I could get her a glass while we continued the tour.

“Here, let me set you up.” While I cracked the seal and removed the cork, Olive bent over in front of me, searching for what I didn’t know nor did I care as my focus remained on my task and hers was lost in her ass damn near landing in my lap.The subtle push up against me had me clearing my throat and Olive popping up with two glasses in her hand.
