Half an hour later, we are ready to leave. Luna falls asleep as soon as she’s strapped into the car seat. I think how nice it will be for Luna and Lexi when they move into my condo. The ride to Santa Monica is smooth. Declan named his pizza joint ‘Did you say Pizza?’ and knowing him, he’ll make a success of it and soon have a chain of them.
We are lucky and manage to get a parking spot right outside the pizza place. “I like the look of it,” I tell Lexi.
