“Sorry about all the tears,” Raven murmured to Destiny. “I’m just....” Relieved? Grateful? So in love, it hurt? “Still coming to terms with everything.”

“Definitely all of the above,” Destiny replied, having caught her thoughts. She wiped away Raven’s tears and grinned. “But mostly, you’re still just in heat, and that’ll make you an emotional wreck until it’s over.”

“Yeah,” she sniffled, “totally getting that.”

When her son released a mighty but very tiny roar from his father’s shoulder, she managed a small smile.

“Yup,” Jade said, reading that roar right. “I’d say your son’s hoping for siblings.”

Her sister chuckled and pulled Raven in for what turned out to be a four-sister bear hug.

“Can’t say I blame your son for wanting siblings,” Trinity said. “He’s been an only child for alongtime.”

“Too long,” Maya agreed.

Her sisters pulled back and looked at Raven, all so different now but the same where it counted. They might be powerful and no longer ruled by inner vibrations, but they were still the wonderful sisters she grew up with.

“So very proud of you all,”Aunt Elsie said into their minds, her voice a little off.“I can’t wait to meet all your children.”

“We can’t either,”Raven replied, frowning when Aunt Elsie’s voice vanished from their thoughts without another word.

“Is it me, or did she sound a little different?” Maya asked aloud, frowning.

“Shedidsound off,” Trinity conceded.

“Well, no wonder.” Jade chuckled again and pointed down the shore a ways. “Look!”

“Is that...?” Trinity began, biting back a smile.

“No.” A smile blossomed on Maya’s face. “It can’t be.”

“But it is,” Raven said softly, smiling when she spied the older, curvy but absolutely lovely female dragon flirting with a group of older male dragon admirers. All of whom seemed smitten. “Aunt Elsie.”

“I’ll be damned,” Jade exclaimed, impressed. “Look at her go! She’s working her dragon allure for everything it’s worth.”

“Just like her nieces should be.” Thorulf pulled Jade back against him and winked at her sisters. “Thisisa night of celebration, and what better way to celebrate?”

Before they could respond, little Celtic fireballs shot off like fireworks, and Jade was whisked away into the night.

“I tend to agree.” Dagr reeled Maya into his arms. “We no longer have to fear godly wars nor an untouchable enemy.” He brushed a kiss across her lips. “So why don’t we—”

That’s all he got out before Maya whisked them away in a flash of Helheim magic.

“I agree,” Trinity said sweetly. Clearly her softer side again, she frowned at where their sisters had just been. “Which is why we should stay together and celebrate.”

“Or,” Vicar winked at Tor and yanked Trinity against him, clearly still his Múspellsheimr side. “I could tie you up and make you—”

That’s all he got out before Trinity, abandoning all family bonding in a split second, snapped her fingers, and they vanished in a flash of Múspellsheimr fire.

Tor smiled and shook his head, no more surprised than Raven that they hadn’t stuck around long. She met his smile and cupped his and her son’s cheeks, so grateful to have them alive and well, she teared up again.

“I love you guys,” she managed. “More than you’ll ever know.”

Her son leaned his cheek into her palm and made a dragonly purring sound.

“We love you too,” Tor rumbled, his emotions running deep. He had been through a lot, and it was catching up with him.

Something his parents seemed to sense because they joined them, and Raven finally officially met Emily and Sven in human form. As to be expected, they were every bit as attractive as their dragons.
