“Oh,ta, straight away.” Deirdre squeezed Madison’s hand one last time and backed out of the chamber. “I look forward to spending time with ye, me’Lady. I have so much to share with ye.”

Madison kept smiling. “Thank you, Deirdre.”

“Of course.” Deirdre curtsied and vanished but not before she called out. “We will begreatfriends!”

Madison chuckled and looked at Cian. “Shedoessort of remind me of Riona...if not a bit peppier.”

He chuckled as well. “So you like her?”

“I do.”

“And, just look,” he pointed out. “You didn’t say anything regrettable when it came to her past or future.”

“I didn’t, did I?”

He shook his head. “And I think I know why.”

When she arched her brows in curiosity, he filled her in.

More so, told her something truly astounding.

Apparently, they said things in such a way that they could actually alter destinies if their words were heeded.”

“You mean to say I can change fate?” Madison’s eyes widened. “Seriously?”
