“Do you have pictures we can see?”

Her innocent question had me swallow funny and I needed to wipe my mouth with my napkin. The photos. Holy shit. There wereverynaughty photos in my camera! It was one thing to agree tothem in the moment, but now? Surrounded by Wilders? Gah!

I glanced at Zeb and he winked. Winked!

“We need to add her to the group text so she can share,” Mrs. Wilder added.

I wanted to slide under the table and hide. If Beau ever saw the pictures Zeb took of me, that rifle would be back out and Zeb would be full of holes.

Zeb pulled out his cell from his pocket and a few seconds later, my own cell chimed. I pulled it free and saw he’d done what his mother wanted. I was now part of the Wilder family group text.

I looked down the table to Mrs. Wilder. She gave me a big, expectant smile.

“Okay, um, let me find one,” I said, putting my phone in my lap and flipping through the photos. Using the slider bar, I jumped right over the ones Zeb took. I’d look at them later when I wasveryalone.

I swiped through the photos from the game. Rose in the crowd. The scoreboard showing Zeb’s team in the lead. The players on the field. Rose, Angela, and Faith screaming with the win. Then the three of them outside the locker room. Another one. Another–

I stilled, then swiped the photo with my fingers to zoom in. There, in the background behind Rose’s leftelbow was Chase Trout and the other guy swapping drugs for money.

Zeb, sitting beside me, tipped his head toward me to snoop.

That wasn’t necessary because I handed him the phone, then pointed.

He stared, then his eyes widened. “Holy shit,” he whispered.

His gaze lifted to mine. He grinned, hooked his hand behind my neck and kissed me. Right there at the table in front of his entire family… and my brother. “That’s my good girl,” he whispered.

Because I had the proof that was needed to bring down Chase Trout. It wasn’the said, she saidany longer.

Dinner wenta bit differently after Cammie found the photo from the game. The one that showed Chase Trout and a guy who’d been in my freshman English class. I’d texted the photo to the group chat. There was no way in hell I was passing Cammie’s phone around and someone seeing our sex photos. I didn’t have a death wish and there was no way in hell anyone was seeing my girl like that but me.

The fact that she’d let me take them in the first place showed that Cammie trusted me, but also that she had a naughty side that we were only just discovering.

Colt had immediately gotten up from the table and headed into the other room to make some calls. Everyone talked at once, finally eager to have someone in that family get caught.

Two hours later, I was upstairs in my room with Cammie. She’d showered and had put on plaid flannel pants with a matching pink top with thick fleece socks on her feet. The top would have been completely tame if it didn’t highlight that she wasn’t wearing a bra. Her hair was wet and combed out down her back. We were laying on my bed–on top of the covers, her head tucked into my shoulder, her body pressed into mine.

We were watching a movie on my cell. We could have done it on the big TV in the family room, but I wanted her all to myself. And braless.

There was a knock at the door, then Colt busted in. “Good, you’re not fucking.”

I jackknifed up in bed, taking Cammie with me. “What the hell?” I asked, shifting so I blocked her with my body. Not that she wasn’t fully covered from neck to toe in flannel and fleece.

Colt rolled his eyes. “You’re twenty. You found your girl.”

“Mom and Dad are down the hall,” I reminded. Not wanting Cammie to feel embarrassed my olderbrother and I were talking about my sex life–with her, I pushed back. “What did you find out about Chase?”

He leaned against the doorframe. “I called the Missoula police. Sent them the details. This photo is great, but the detective agrees that his lawyer could easily say they were swapping cookies or something.”

“Cookies?” Cammie asked, surprised.

“The photo does give a location, right outside the locker room, so they’re gonna pull the security feed and that should offer more evidence. Video. He was stupid to do it there, probably hoping a quick drug deal would be lost in the crowd, but that family isn’t made up of the sharpest tools in the shed.” Colt’s gaze narrowed. “We’ll get him.” He looked to Cammie. “You did good.”

I turned to her, smiled. I’d already told her how proud I was of her.
