“Oh, gods.” Liza moaned and threw her head back, riding me like a fucking horse at the Kentucky Derby.
I grabbed her ass with both hands, squeezing and pushing her down harder, wanting every centimeter of my cock to be inside her.
Her inner walls were still spasming from her orgasm, and it took everything I had to hold back. “Fuck, you’re so tight,” I muttered, biting my lower lip. “And so damn wet.”
“You make me that way,” she said, her eyes half-lidded with pleasure. “I’m so thankful I married a guy who loves to eat pussy.”
My breathing became heavy with pleasure as I neared my release. Liza’s breathing became erratic as she moved faster against me, pushing us both over the edge together. She clamped down on me, and I tightened my grip on her ass. Liza screamed, leaving nothing to the imagination for those who might be working on the grounds of the estate below us.
In a moment of intense pleasure, we came completely undone as I spilled every drop of seed deep into her, my body twitching from waves of satisfaction.
The intensity of it all left us both trembling, riding a euphoric high.
She collapsed onto my chest afterward, our sweaty skin sticking together from the warmth of the sun.
“Ty,” she moaned, breathless from our encounter. “I love you.”
Eventually, our heartbeats slowed, and we untangled ourselves.
Liza pressed a tender kiss to my lips, her eyes filled with warmth and gratitude. “Thank you for this,” she said, brushing her fingers through my hair. “I needed that.”
“Anytime. It doesn’t matter what I have going on, I will always stop whatever I am doing to fuck you, or eat your pussy, Liza. You have my guarantee.” I winked at her. “So, what’s your plan for today?”
We moved back into the bedroom. Liza sat at the dressing table and smoothed her white-blonde hair back into a ponytail. “I’ve got a lot to catch up on with work. I won’t be able to be there for the remaining interviews, but after yesterday, I feel strongly that Isaiah is the man for the job. He answered all ofyour questions with ease and seems to have a fantastic résumé. I doubt you’ll find anyone else of his caliber.”
“No problem.” I wanted her to take the time to focus on her own business and hoped it would keep her from stressing about Castro. “I agree with you about Isaiah. I think it’s just a formality to interview the other guys at this point. You never know, maybe I’ll get lucky and one of them will be better than Isaiah. I’ll let you know how it goes.”
Even though I’d already had my mind set on Isaiah, it was important to give the other candidates a fair chance. Plus, I figured it would be a bad look if the alpha canceled scheduled interviews.
With that, we went our separate ways. Liza dressed and retreated to her office to handle her business matters while I headed to my own office to conduct the interviews.
The first candidate was a tall, broad-shouldered man with an impressive résumé. However, throughout the entire interview, he refused to make eye contact with me. Instead, his eyes darted nervously around the room, as if searching for an escape route. While I appreciated his honesty regarding his anxiety in high-pressure situations, that didn’t make him suitable for the job.
The second candidate was an eccentric middle-aged man with wild, curly hair, and a penchant for talking about his multiple cats. While he seemed passionate about feline companionship, he lacked the focus and discretion needed for the job. Plus, his insistence on showing me photos of each of his cats during the interview only solidified my decision.
Neither of them held a candle to Isaiah. With his intelligence, confidence, and charisma, he was undoubtedly the best choice for the role.
Once the interviews were over, I was completely convinced that I’d found my informant. I just needed to make it official.
Picking up my phone, I dialed Isaiah’s number.
“Hello?” He tried to hide it, but I heard the anticipation in his voice.
“Isaiah, after careful consideration, I’d like to offer you the position of informant,” I said, cutting straight to the point.
“Thank you, Alpha Keller. I won’t let you down.” His tone was filled with gratitude and determination.
“Your first assignment will be to investigate anyone in town who might have connections to Castro. I’ll send over all the information we currently have on him. We need to stay one step ahead of him. We can’t allow him to sink his hooks into another one of our pack members like he did Cecily.”
“Understood, sir. I’ll get started right away.”
With that settled, I called Dad to my office. One of the perks of my parents living on the estate grounds was the ease with which I could get in touch with him for an impromptu meeting. When he retired and passed the mantle over to me, he’d said he was going to enjoy his time loafing around the new house, reading books he’d meant to read for years, but he jumped at the chance to discuss pack business whenever I called.
Fifteen minutes later, Dad sat across from me as I shared the good news. “I’ve settled on an informant.”
His eyebrows shot up. “Already? That sure as hell was fast. This is a huge decision, Ty, and it will affect your time as alpha. Are you sure?”
“I’m positive. His name is Isaiah Culver. His experience is impressive and his answers to my questions were spot-on. I like him, Dad. I’ve already called to tell him he’s hired and give him his first assignment.” I handed Dad Isaiah’s file so he could see for himself.
