With that, Donovan and I went to mix a drink. It’d been a very long time since I’d been at a late-night bar that felt like this. The four of us sat together for a short bit and tried to chit-chat, but it wasn’t the type of place for that. And when Donovan put his large hand on my thigh, it became hard to concentrate on any conversation at all. When I looked up, Big Mike was walking towards us with McKenna in tow.

“Everything okay?” Donovan asked Mike, looking confused.

“Yeah. She was solo, and I didn’t want her trying to make her way back here alone. It’s late, people are drunk, your sister is too short, and she’s a pretty gal. I gotta run. Just wanted to make sure she made it with minimal harassment.” He turned to McKenna, “Good seeing you, Mackey Mae.”

“Thanks, Mikey,” Donovan and I called at him.

McKenna ran over and hugged me with such force that the drink almost fell out of my hand.

“I’m so sorry, Audra.” She didn’t even say hello to Donovan. “This is all my fault. I made him come. Even when he knew Evelyn was coming, and they have a really fucked up history, he still came because I begged. And then I didn’t stick up for you at dinner, I just … I am so, so sorry.” She looked at the ground, discouraged.

“It’s okay, McKenna. Everything is fine, I promise. We’re here, and we’re together. If anything, itforced us to iron a couple of things out. I’m not mad at him. I rather like your brother, in fact,” I smiled at her, “a whole lot.”

Tears welled in her eyes. “I told him this already tonight, and I might be overstepping, but you’re the kind of person I pictured him with.”

“You don’t know me well enough to say that,” I replied, taken aback by the vote of confidence.

“I know the way he looks at you and laughs with you. That’s all I need to know,” she said as she hugged me again. “Thank you for listening to him.”

Jules broke up the love fest. “Let’s dance. I love this fucking song.”

So the three of us held hands and made our way onto the dance floor. Now this is what this kind of bar was made for.We got two songs in before we were joined by our men and one of Nathan’s friends, Sebastian, who had taken an interest in McKenna. He was another good-looking guy. Man, looking around, there were lots of pretty people in the club.

Donovan snaked one arm around my waist and held me tight against his body. There was no way I could miss how hard he was. Spinning me around so we were chest to chest, he guided my arms around his neck and placed his thigh right between my legs so I could grind myself on him. I thought the last time I did something like dirty dance to bass-heavy music was maybe my freshman year of college at a house party, so it was novel, new, and hot. As I looked around, everyone was in their own world with friends and partners. Fueled by the booze and the beats, I reached down and subtly brushed over Donovan through his pants a few times. He was as hard as a rock.

“Don’t be doing things like that if you aren’t planning on following through, beautiful,” he rasped at me.

“Who says I won’t?” I flirted back at him as I applied a little more pressure to the discreet stroking, making sure my fingers stroked up and down the side. He pulled his whole bottom lip into his mouth, and his head went back as he closed his eyes. I could hear him groan, but the sound was lost to the music for everyone else.

“You’re a dirty fucking girl, Chaos,” he said as he kissed my neck.

If it was just strangers surrounding us, I legitimately think I might have just gone for it, but with his sister and Jules dancing close to us, I had to pull back, even though I didn’t want to. Then it was his turn. While I was actively chasing pleasure on his thigh, he cupped my ass, pulling me closer, to give me even more friction. I was so far gone for him and grinding so shamelessly, I was sure I was leaving a wet spot on his pants. Hell, I was embarrassingly close to orgasming on his freaking thigh. When we weren’t teasing each other with intention, I danced around with our company and had a fabulous time. It had turned out to be a spectacular night.

When we came back together the final time, he brushed against the fold of my ass, and that was my limit. I could not take it anymore. We’d been there for almost two hours, and at least half that time was spent teasing each other in some form or another. I was sweaty and desperate. I motioned him to bend and stood on my tip toes to reach his ear.

“We have to leave right now or I’m going to suck you or fuck you in front of all these people.”

My comment shocked even me. It was not only louder than I anticipated, but it was also the most forward I’d ever been in my life.

“Don’t have to ask me twice,” he said, and we started our round of quick goodbyes. When we pushed into the night air,he took me half a block down and then stopped in front of a small limo and opened the door. It wasn’t Miles or his car, and I was confused.

“What’s going on?”

“Get in the car, Audra. I’m not about to have you suck my dick on a dance floor, but I can’t wait a moment longer to have you after the last couple of hours.”

I scrambled in and noticed the partition was up and the music was loud and just as bass-heavy as the club was. Who was on the other side of it? “This isn’t Miles, right?”

“Not Miles,” he said as he was climbing in. “Complete stranger.”

“How?”

“Because I can afford to pay for dark windows and discretion.”

The engine started, and we pulled out into traffic. I was so turned on by the whole scenario, I decided to lean into it. Getting on my knees in front of him, I licked my lips seductively.

“What can I do for you today, sir?” I asked innocently.

He caught on instantly, but his eyes went wide—like his body believed it before his mind did. To be fair, I couldn’t completely believe what I was doing either, but he easily fell into the role-play without question.
