She nods slowly. “I’m not saying I care. I was just curious.” Her gaze lowers and shifts back and forth from one chest to another. “Did you take off your shirts in order to impress me?”

I chuckle. “No. This is how we dress at home. The suits are something we wear to appease the human population. On Eleadia this is what we wear at all times.”

“Except perhaps in bed,” Bamgin adds. He saunters toward our girl. “I mean I’ve never slept naked before, but I assume I might start doing so soon.”

Margaret reaches up as though beckoning us closer.

Ignoring her outstretched hands, Bamgin bends down, scoops her into his arms, and lifts her off the sofa. He’s careful to support her injured leg with one forearm.

She gasps, but her shock is followed by a giggle. It’s the sweetest sound ever. “What are you doing?”

“Moving you to the bedroom so we can stretch out and kiss you some more,” he informs her.

I’m certainly in favor of this, and I hop onto the bed in front of them.

Bamgin transfers her to my arms, and I settle her in the middle of the enormous bed. I can smell her need. It’s growing. I suspect it’s confusing to her, and I want to know how much experience she has with men.

Bamgin grabs a pillow and tucks it under her injured leg, propping it up before stretching out at her side to mirror me on her other side.

I reach down and set my palm on her thigh, loving the way she sucks in a breath. I’m not touching her intimately, but I can scent her arousal leaking out of her. I can’t wait to strip her from these clothes and taste her. There are so many things I want to do to her, but I must be patient.

We won’t ever need to pressure her. She will get there on her own. It’s natural. She won’t be able to deny us. And I wonder if by chance what she’s feeling is more pronounced because there are two of us or if it’s the same. We’ll never know. We have nothing to compare it to.

“Tell us what your experience is with human males,” I encourage, pressing my body up closer to hers. Heavens, I want these clothes gone.

Her cheeks pinken, and I swear the red and yellow sparkles in her eyes glow. “Yeah, well, I hate to disappoint you, but I’ve been focused on school and basketball since I was a kid. I didn’thave time for boys or men. If you were hoping to find a woman with more experience in bed, you chose wrong.”

I flinch. So does Bamgin. He’s extended just as close to her other side as I am, and he settles a palm on her stomach. “Do not misunderstand us, Baby girl. We don’t care what your prior experience is. We’re just curious so we’ll know some of your history.”

I’m feeling grateful Bamgin is here to help me navigate the next several hours. So many things are going to happen to our Little girl, and we’ll be able to field every new experience one at a time, tossing them back and forth between us.

I pick up where Bamgin left off. “You understand we didn’t choose you, right? Fate did. And I don’t mean that to sound crass. I’m telling you that to help you understand how this works. You’re our perfect mate. The one Fate selected for us perhaps eons ago. We could never be attracted to another being. In our eyes, you are perfection. You feel it, too. You feel the same draw to us. The difference is that you don’t have this kind of bond on Earth. Humans do not mate for life. They don’t find their perfect person and know it in an instant and then feel devoted to each other for centuries.”

She stares at me without blinking.

Bamgin strokes her stomach over her white sweater. “You feel that bond, Little one, don’t you?”

She slowly nods. “It makes no sense.”

“It’s natural to us. You’ll learn to accept it.”

“As for your experience with men,” I continue, “let me point out a few things that will ease your mind. One, we’re humbled to know that all your firsts will be with us. Two, let me tell you something you don’t know. In reality you have more experience than Bamgin and I combined. You’re the first female we’ve been this close to.”

“Really?” Her eyes narrow.

“Really.” Bamgin kisses her cheek, lingering to nuzzle the soft skin.

I love how her breath hitches at the simple contact. “We don’t have females on our planet anymore. That’s why we come to Earth to find a mate. The only females on Eleadia are humans from your planet.”

“Oh.”

I nod. “We’re well read. We know everything there is to know about how to please you, Little one, but we have never put it into practice. You will be our only partner for centuries.”

“You keep mentioning centuries. How long do you live on Eleadia?”

Bamgin takes over. “We don’t know for sure. There was a disturbance in the atmosphere over a century ago. Everything changed. Our females died off. So did our elderly. That left a male population who are all roughly the same age.”

“Wait. A century ago? How old are you?” Her gaze darts back and forth between us.
