That was it.

With a single, fluid motion, he was inside me. We both moaned aloud in unison.

“Fuck me . . . it shouldn’t feel this good,” he ground out, his jaw locked as he tried to regain control. But I didn’t want him to be in control. I wanted him to agree to my requests. All of them.

I circled my hips to meet his experimentally. He let out a guttural sound. So, that was new.

I guess he likes it.

I did it again.

“Tony . . . I need my freedom.”

“Witch,” he hissed at me, but there was admiration in his eyes. “You are playing with fire.”

I held his eyes as I matched him stroke for stroke.

“I know.”

He kissed me, long and deep, not tearing his mouth away for what felt like hours, though I knew it was only minutes.

“Give me a baby.”

“Let me go back to class,” I countered. “And give me my phone back.”

I bucked my hips and he cursed.

“Say yes,” I begged.

“Yes, Evie. Fucking yes!”

I felt myself starting to come at the same time he did. His shaft expanded inside me. My body clenched down on his without thought. It was just . . . need.

I needed his seed inside me. I needed him to keep fucking me. I needed this.

I needed him.

“Christ, Evie, I’m coming,” he hissed, holding my hips steady so he could pump himself into me. An endless stream of wet heat poured into me, filling me up. It felt so good. Even better than the first time. And I had a feeling we were just getting started.

He froze above me, then started moving frantically until he slowed, making a few last jerking motions above me. We stayed like that for a long time, just letting our breathing slow and our tremors pass.

“You are magnificent,” he finally said with a kiss as he rolled us to lie on our sides, our bodies still connected.

“I’m going to hold you to your promise.”

He laughed and squeezed me tightly.

“I know you are.”

Chapter 39

Antonio

Two weeks. I’d made her wait two weeks before I came through on my promise. But I hadn’t kept her trapped. We’d tested the waters under strictly controlled circumstances at first.

But over the past few weeks, I was slowly learning to trust her.

In that time, we’d left the mansion almost every day. Just a walk around the block at first. But then dinner out. A trip to the building site to discus our plans. An afternoon at Disney Land.

Even a quick trip to visit her mother in Oregon. It wasn’t exactly the honeymoon I still planned to take her on, but it meant the world to her. I could see it in her eyes. I could feel her gratitude when I took her to bed at night.

My brother thought I was out of my mind. That I was moving too fast. But I knew something he didn’t.

My wife was falling in love with me.

It had happened slowly at first. I’d made her want me in bed. That hadn’t been hard. She was a healthy young woman without hang-ups to interfere with her natural inclinations. She was passionate by nature, I was happy to discover. Our chemistry was mind-boggling. But it was more than that. I’d shown her my trust by giving her a phone. Not her phone, but a new one with a new number that I could trace and keep track of. I’d only put five numbers in it. Mine, her mother’s, Auntie’s, Vincent’s and Michael’s. As far as I was concerned, she didn’t need anyone else.

Now I was loosening the strings a little bit more. Opening the door to her cage. Letting her fly free, provided that she follow a strict set of rules and flew home to me every time.

Tomorrow was the ultimate test and the ultimate show of my faith in her. I was giving her what I knew in my heart she needed to thrive. Tomorrow, my love was going back to college.

I watched as she nervously scanned her notes and the homework she’d completed to try and catch up. I wanted to scoop her up and carry her back to bed, but I’d had her this morning already. I decided it was only fair to let her work.

Besides, I needed to talk to Vince.

“Back soon,” I said, bending to kiss her soft hair. I didn’t say the three little words. Not yet. I’d known for a while that I was in love with my wife. But I wanted to hear them first.

That way, I’d be sure to keep the upper hand.

“Dinner out in two hours?”

“Okay,” she said distractedly. I knew it was going to be impossible to tear her away from her books. I chuckled.

“Maybe takeout is better.”

She nodded, but I doubted she was listening to me. I shook my head and left the suite, locking the door behind me. There weren’t guards outside the suite anymore, but they did patrol the hallways constantly. So someone would always be near at hand.
