"Holy fuck!" Hunter groans, why I have no idea.
"You can say that again brother, shit!" Kai agrees.
I ignore them and settle back down again on my side. I'm nearing sleep again when I feel the bed dip down on either side of me, they obviously got over whatever their issue was.I'm lifted slightly, a strong muscled arm is placed underneath my head, I nuzzle my cheek into thewarm chest in front of me, adoring the skin on skin contact. I listen to his heartbeat quicken.
Hunter.
I then feel a slightly leaner but no less defined arm wrap around my stomach from behind and a nose nuzzle the back of my neck.Keeping my cheek on Hunters chest I scoot my ass back until I'm completely flush with Kai.I hear him inhale sharply, his arm tightening around my stomach.I mentally shrug too tired to figure out why I just caused that reaction in him.I have a feeling awake me might know anyway.
I drift into a deep and dreamless sleep.
Chapter Thirteen
Once again, I wake up feeling incredibly warm and with two male bodies curled around me. I have a feeling that this might become a regular occurrence and I've got to admit, I'm not complaining in the slightest, in fact I'm very much looking forward to it.I grin and snuggle deeper into their arms.
I try to go back to sleep but something keeps niggling at the back of my mind.
I get a flash of the bad boy’s theme tune and flinging my bra?
What the fuck? That can't be right, surely?
Suddenly it all comes rushing back to me with startling clarity and I sit up with a yell, effectively dislodging Kai and Hunters arms causing them to wake up with me. There's a rush of footsteps as Maverick, Levi and Jax come rushing in all looking ready for battle.It would be funny if I wasn't feeling just a tiny bit mortified right now.
"What's wrong?" Levi asks, searching the room for a threat.
"We heard you yell Titch." Maverick states relaxing slightly as he sees no obvious threat.
"Did you have a bad dream again, Little Star?" Jax questions concerned.
"I wish." I mutter, darkly.
Kai and Hunter start chuckling beside me obviously realising what caused me to jump up so suddenly.The others stare at them both confused and I turn to Hunter and Kai, glaring at them.
"Did I pretty much strip in front of you?" I demand, hoping I’m wrong but really, I already know the answer, I need to clarify just in case it was a horribly embarrassing dream.
"What!?" Jax yells. "I thought you guys were coming in here to rest?" He pouts for a moment, "why wasn't I invited?"
"What Jax is trying to ask is why you think you stripped in front of Kai and Hunter?" Levi asks.
Watching his expression carefully I see that although he's trying toportray that he's calm and collected, it's not entirely true as his right eye is twitching slightly.
I turn to Kai and Hunter for some help in trying to explain the situation, but they are both still laughing, so there's no help coming from them.I groan and bury my head in my hands, this is so embarrassing.
If I'd known I was going to get tired enough for asleep me to make an appearance, I would've pre warned the guys and then tried my hardest not to let it happen.
"Little Star?" Jax questions.
I bring my head up and look at Maverick, Jax and Levi all of whom are now perched on the end of the bed watching me.I decide to ignore the laughing hyenas next to me.
"When I get really, really exhausted, I mean can't keep my eyes open, bone tired like I did earlier. I kind of start to act a little drunk. I have no brain to mouth filter and I simply don't care about the same things I usually would.So, for example earlier I was uncomfortable in my clothes but also too tired to get up to change, so I didn't. I knew Hunter and Kai were in the room but I didn't care about them seeing me get undressed. I just wanted to be comfortable." I shrug and shift under the stares of the three at the end of the bed.Jax starts to smirk at me but before he can say what he was going to he gets interrupted by Kai.
"Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do . . ."
I don't let Kai get any further in his singing before I plant both of my feet against him and push until he falls out of bed landing with a thump on the floor.
The others burst out laughing.
I suddenly remember that Kai was grazed by a bullet earlier and still in my half awake and slightly mortified state I launch myself off the bed after him and end up with my knees on either side of his hips. He stares at me wide eyed as I run my hands up his chest and grip onto his shoulders.
