“But we do need to get up,” Arvus said, “or we’ll be late.”

Molun buried his face in Trill’s shoulder blade. “Five more minutes.”

“Molun,” Arvus said warningly.

“Pretty please?”

Trill giggled, because he could actually see the way that Arvus was melting.

“Five more,” Arvus said with a stern glance that Molun wasn’t seeing because he was happily pressed against Trill’s skin.

Trill watched as Arvus headed into the water closet to get cleaned up. Molun pressed a couple kisses to Trill’s skin, whichhe took to mean they were close enough to all of them together that this was acceptable.

“How are you feeling this morning?” Trill asked.

“Sleeping,” Molun grumbled.

Trill huffed a laugh. “Oh, sorry, go ahead.”

Molun slung an arm over Trill’s waist and happily snuggled further against him, like he actually thought he could get five more minutes of quality sleep while they were lying here. (It was clear Trill wasn’t moving until Molun did; he was being used as a full-body pillow.)

Arvus did return, though Trill was pretty sure it was at least seven minutes, maybe eight, and although Molun grumbled again, he did allow himself to be chivvied out of bed. It was really very adorable to watch. Then Molun turned back to look at him.

“Wait, why are you still in bed?”

“Because we can’t get ready together, and you got out of bed first?”

Molun pouted. “Not fair!”

Trill watched as Molun finally went to relieve himself, and then he watched Arvus get dressed, because that was always enjoyable.

“They haven’t delivered your clothes yet,” Arvus told him. “But you could wear these for the moment. They’re Molun’s.”

While slightly better than Arvus’s, these clothes definitely did not fit Trill like a glove. But he gamely pulled them on, and when Molun emerged from the water closet, he grinned and came over to Trill to press a kiss to his lips.

“I like that. You should always do that.”

Trill would look like a child if he went around wearing their clothes all the time. He headed into the water closet to clean up himself.

Breakfast was waiting for them when Trill emerged, and as he slid into a chair, he saw Arvus and Molun exchange glances. Trill froze, then started to stand up again.

“Should I not—”

They hadn’t actually said anything this time, Trill had just assumed—

But they both reached for him.

“Sit down,” Arvus said.

Trill sat, confused. “But you want to talk to me about something this morning?”

They nodded.

“What is it?” he asked.

He should perhaps not have been making so many plans last night.

“We were wondering if you’d like to stay with us while you’re here in the city,” Molun said.
