Time to switch to a different topic. “So, what brings you ladies to Still Springs?”
Marsha lets out a long sigh that makes it seem like she’s about to say something incredibly insightful. “We’re all so jaded from the whole dating scene down state, ya know?”
All sojaded…
A woman with blazing green eyes flickers through my mind. I force her right back out and paste on a smile.
“So we decided to get away from our usual haunts,” Marsha adds, somehow without taking a breath. “My parents always used to bring me to Fall Fest, so I suggested that, and here we are.”
“Here you are,” I echo, matching her excited tone.
“And the day we arrived, I metyou,” Cindi croons. “It’s like fate.”
“Just like fate,” I agree, even though this had nothing to do with fate but with me not wanting to go home and dwell on how shitty I treated the woman I’m definitely not thinking about.
Cindi peers at me through glassy blue eyes. “Ireallythink you should have a drink.”
“I’m good.”
“I’m sure you are.” She winks as she tilts her glass toward my lips. “Come on. For me? Pretty please?”
Short of kicking her off my lap, I really don’t have much of a choice if I don’t want liquid all over my shirt. So I take a dutiful sip; the gin burns my throat the whole way down.
“Good, right? I like sharing.” When Cindi’s lips graze my jaw, the other two giggle.
Marsha links her fingers with Tory’s and gives the woman’s knuckles a lingering kiss, her eyes still on me. “We’re all really good at sharing.”
Ohhhh-kay.This is not how I expected tonight to go. I thought maybe I’d get off with Cindi with an “i”, but a foursome? It’s like I stepped into my own personal porno.
Normally, I’d be up for just about anything. But it’s like my dick has gone into hibernation. There’s a beautiful woman sitting on my lap and two more making out on the couch beside me, but nothing is happening downstairs. Not even a fucking twitch.
“So, I’ve been wondering,” Cindi breathes heavily against my ear. “Are you a dirty boy? Because you sure do look like one.”
Her question makes my entire being contract. “Showered before I got here, actually.”
She smiles against my cheek as her hand snakes down my stomach to my unimpressed dick. “You know what I mean.”
Why do people insist on equating enjoying sex with being “dirty”? Isn’t the purpose of sex to enjoy it? Technically, I guess it’s to procreate, but orgasms wouldn’t exist if we weren’t meant to have a shitload of fun while we’re doing it.
“Loosen up. Let’s have some fun,” Cindi says before her mouth finds its way to mine. I allow her tongue’s assault, but I can’t help imagining what it’d be like to have Jade in her skin-tight yoga pants sitting on my lap instead...thighs spread, her perfect body grinding against mine until we’re both ready to peel off our clothes and get lost in each other.
I bet Jade wouldn’t try to choke me with her tongue. Or maybe she would, and I’d like it. But Cindi with an “i” isn’t doing it for me tonight. Which makes no fucking sense. This is why I came here. This is what I do. Why isn’t my body cooperating?
When Cindi finally comes up for air, I take the drink tilted precariously toward my lap and set it on the coffee table. She shifts so that she’s straddling me, and I hold her there a second just in case…
Nope. Still nothing happening downstairs.
“I hate to disappoint, but I’ve gotta head out.” I help Cindi relocate to the chair’s arm before pushing to my feet.
Marsha and Tory take a break from groping each other to throw matching pouts my way. “But you just got here.”
“Yeah, you just got here,” Cindi whines, looking so forlorn that I almost feel bad for leaving. But not bad enough to stick around.
“Yeah, sorry. I forgot I had to do something tonight. Maybe I’ll see you at Fall Fest.” With that, I slip out the door, climb back on my bike, and get the hell out of dodge.
I have every intention of going straight home, except Jade is stuck inside my head and I can’t get her out. Maybe I should go see her instead.
Yeah, right. I can’t do that. Hayley would murder me. Jade probably wouldn’t let me in the door anyway, not after the way I acted earlier.
