I rolled my gray eyes and turned back to my favorite couple. “If you’ll excuse me.”

“Yeah, man. Go do your thing,” Ward replied.

“You two, eat, drink, enjoy this shit,” I suggested.

“We will,” Kiera assured me. “Don’t worry about us.”

I gave Kiera another hug and squeezed Ward’s shoulder as I walked away to see what the fuck Stix wanted. He was standing with the other guys and our manager, Kathryn. “What’s up?”

Stix’s green eyes lit up. “Kat was just about to tell us about our next gig.”

I balked. I thought we would be in the studio recording a new album, not performing again. “Our next gig?”

Kathryn grinned as she looked at me and then the group of guys. “How do you all feel about baseball?”

“Baseball?” I furrowed my brows.

“I’ve arranged for you guys to sing the national anthem before a few games in different cities. It’s going to be like a mini-tour, but mostly it’s to get your name out.”

“Where are we talking?” James asked.

“Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and of course, all of the California teams.”

“Wow,” Jhett breathed. “Baseball stadiums hold thousands of people.”

“When do we start?” I questioned.

“After the July All-Star break.”

Stix said, “I can’t bring my kit out, but I can sing and shit while the guitars play.”

“Yes,” Kathryn agreed. “We’ll get it all worked out, I promise. Tonight, let’s just celebrate the end of a great west coast tour.”

We cheered, and I looked over at Ward and Kiera. I was excited to tell Ward because I knew he liked the game—and we couldcelebrateat the next Sensation night.

I never knew what would happen when I attended the monthly parties at Sensation. Would I be with a man? A woman? A man and a woman? Ward and Kiera? Strangers? It was all exciting for me.

After grabbing a beer at the Diamond member’s bar, I walked around the red-hued mansion in search of anyone I knew. Before Ward and Kiera, I had been with a few of the men, a few of the woman, and one other couple. I’d also enjoyed multiple make-out sessions and manual stimulation. I was up for anything.

When I found Ward and Kiera, they were on a couch, kissing and rubbing each other. They liked to be watched—that was what got them off—and I didn’t blame them. Watching them together was hot and what had attracted me to them the first time I saw Ward’s fingers up Kiera’s dress. I had yet to participate with them out in the open because I wasn’t sure if they were ready for that, so we would go up to my room, but as I started toward them, wanting to watch, my gaze landed on one of the hottest men I’d ever seen in my life.

Under the red-hue of the room, I couldn’t tell what color his hair was or what color his eyes were. What I could see was his smile that lit up his gorgeous face with his light beard.

The problem was he was with a woman.

Or maybe it wasn’t a problem.

I was going to find out.

CHAPTER THREE

Slate

Ihad no idea how I let Leigh talk me into going with her to a sex club. It wasn’t as though I could walk in off the street either. I had to sign an NDA, apply to attend, and get tested for STDs once I was approved.

I’d had a game in Anaheim the same night, but it ended at a decent hour, and instead of going out with the team, I took an Uber to Leigh’s house to change into a tux. I thought it was odd that we had to dress as though we were going to the Oscars—well, at least I was. Leigh was in a skimpy black dress that showed a lot of skin.

“I know you’re nervous, but just stay by me, and we can watch,” Leigh stated as the limo drove down some street on the way to the club.
