Stacey nodded. “Yeah. She’s the one that got me into Sweethearts.”

“Ah, cool. Ready?”

“Yep.” Stacey waved goodbye to Molly, and then we walked to my truck. “By the way, you look nice in a suit.”

“Thanks, toots.” I cranked the engine and smirked. “You wanna take it off of me later?”

She laughed. “Ah, the same ol’ Blake.”

“You know it.” I winked.

“So, whose wedding are we going to?”

“My buddy Ronnie from high school.” I pulled away from the curb and headed toward the venue.

“And you’re not in the wedding?”

“Nah. We weren’t that close.”

“But aren’t your parents going to be there? Sounds like you’re kinda close.”

I grunted a laugh. “Country club friends with his parents.”

Nothing was said for a few seconds before she asked, “So, what’s new?”

“Not much. You?”

“Starting my senior year next week,” she advised.

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah.”

“That’s cool. Are you still doing grandpas?”

Stacey laughed. “Yeah, but I’m going back to twice a week once school starts.”

“And you make enough doing it just twice a week?”

“That’s four grand a month. It’s enough so I can finish school.”

“Four grand with eight days ofwork? I seriously need a sugar momma. That way, I can get my club up and running ASAP.”

She grinned. “A hottie like you wouldn’t have any problems.”

“You think I’m hot?” I smirked.

“We’ve already established that, Blake.”

“Maybe tomorrow you can help me set up a profile?” Getting paid to fuck? Why didn’t I think of that sooner? I loved being behind the bar, mixing cocktails and talking to everyone who I interacted with, but maybe on my days off from The Wild Pony, I could go on dates for five hundred a pop.

“I can do that if you buy a girl breakfast.”

I grunted a laugh. “You’re staying the night? I thought we had rules?”

“I didn’t say I was staying over. You can come pick me up and take me out.”

“Like a date?”
