FALLON

The bed dipped, and my eyes fluttered open. Rhett was fully dressed in a hunter green long-sleeved Henley shirt, the top button undone, and jeans.

“If you’re going to crawl into my bed, the least you could do is be naked,” I teased, moving closer. Was this how things would be since our talk on Friday? I’d gone to bed happy, knowing I would see him soon and our situation would no longer be awkward. I could get used to him in my bed, that was for sure.

He kissed my throat, working his way down to my collarbone. “I would be if we had time.”

I pulled back and gazed into his eyes. “I can make time.”

“You have class, baby boy.”

A zing went straight to my dick at his use of a nickname. “Yeah, but we can be quick.”

“There will be nothing quick about our first time.”

He kissed my neck again, and I rubbed my aching cock on his crotch.

“But you know, I’m good at multitasking.”

He groaned. “Fallon …”

“Shower with me.” I continued to rub myself on him, and I could feel his erection stiffen in his pants. It was clear he wanted it as much as I did.

“And what if Agent Day walks in?”

“You’re my man on the inside. He has no reason to come in here.”

“Except when the smoke detector goes off,” Rhett teased.

“I’m not cooking, but I do need some protein.” I grinned and rolled on top of him. He stared up at me as though he was really struggling with giving in to me. I glanced at the clock. “We have a little more than an hour before we need to leave for class. That’s plenty of time.”

“If anything were to happen—”

“The only thing that’s going to happen is I’m going to suck your dick and you’re going to fuck me.”

“Jesus,” he groaned. “I meant if there was an emergency.”

“What the hell do you think is going to happen? There’s no reason I would be in danger.”

“It’s not just you.” He brushed a piece of hair off my forehead. “If there’s a threat to your father or some kind of national security issue, our protocol is to get you to an undisclosed secure location as soon as possible.”

“My dad isn’t even sworn in yet.”

“Doesn’t matter. Someone who’s not happy he’s the president-elect could take it to the extreme.”

I knew there were people in the world who thought killing someone would solve all their problems, but the chances of anything happening before my father was president were slim. At least, I hoped.

“So, you’re saying we can’t have sex ever?”

“No.”

“Then what are you saying?”

“That we need to be careful.”

“Of course.”

“And”—Rhett nudged me so I slid off him and he climbed out of the bed—“get your sweet ass into the shower, and I’ll be right there.”
