“Take a look at this.” I handed him the plastic card and waited as he flipped it over.

His forehead creased in confusion. “What are you doing with my credit card?”

“Good question. But you might want to ask your brother since I found it in his wallet.”

FALLON

I staredat the credit card in my hand. Had Finn stolen it from me? How did he get it, and why did he have it? I had no clue because we didn’t pay our credit card bills. My parents’ money manager took care of everything.

“You need to speak with Finnegan sooner rather than later,” Rhett urged. “Agent Ramos heard him use your name when he was on the phone with someone. I don’t like that.”

My head shot up to look back at Rhett. “My name?”

He reached out his hand but pulled it back quickly. “Something isn’t right, Fallon. That guy in Atlantic City, Finnegan using your name, and now finding your credit card. Your brother is involved in some shady shit, and you need to find out what it is.”

I continued to study the card in my hand, my mind spinning. Was it a new one from my parents or one Finn had opened using my name? And why? “He asked me for money, you know?”

“He did? When?”

I nodded and met Rhett’s stare. “Yeah, at the Breakfast with Santa.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

I lifted a shoulder. “Didn’t think it was anything serious. I know he has a gambling problem and thought he just blew through his allowance for the month.”

“Did you give him any?”

“No.” I shook my head. “Of course not. And I don’t think this is one of my credit cards.”

“I figured that.”

“Fuck.” I ran my hand down my face. “What do I do?”

“Talk to him.”

“Now?”

Rhett looked toward the door. “Yeah. Never mind he’s fucking up your credit by getting cards in your name, he’s also putting you in harm’s way, and you know this because of Atlantic City. You need to deal with it now.”

“But what about the dinner?” I knew Rhett was right, but having a confrontation with my brother at the White House during a state dinner wasn’t something I wanted to do. I didn’t want word to get out to anyone in attendance, especially my parents and the president of France. That was all my father needed.

“I know right now isn’t ideal, but we need to get ahead of this. You were already approached by someone wanting their money back. What would have happened if my team and I weren’t there?”

“I would have kicked that guy’s ass.” Rhett tilted his head and stared at me without a smile. I grimaced. Clearly, he wasn’t in the mood for my jokes. “I’m kidding. I don’t know what would have happened.”

“Let me get Ramos to bring Finnegan in and put a stop to this shit so nothing else happens.”

“Okay.” I blew out a breath. “Bring me a shot of vodka too.”

Rhett turned and left the room. A few minutes later, Finn walked in with Rhett and Ramos on his heels. Rhettdidn’thave my shot of vodka.

“What the hell, Fallon?” Finn questioned as he walked closer.

Rhett closed the door they passed through.

“You tell me.” I flung the credit card at my brother.
