“Yes,” I grunted, filling the condom.

He collapsed onto my chest, both of us sweaty and sticky.

Once our breathing returned to normal, Fallon stood and reached out his hand for me. “Come shower with me.”

I checked the time on my phone. “You’ve only got a few minutes before you’re supposed to leave.”

He smiled. “We’ll be quick.”

I followed him to the bathroom and took care of the condom while he turned on the tap. We stepped inside, and despite knowing he needed to hurry, the rivulets of water running down his body highlighted his powerful muscles and had me dropping to my knees.

“Fuck, Rhett,” he moaned as I took him to the back of my throat.

Between my hand playing with his balls and my mouth working him over, it only took a few minutes for him to say, “I’m going to come,” and then spill his seed across my tongue.

“Looks like I had enough time to make you come twice.” I beamed as I stood.

“Fine. I won’t question your abilities next time.” He rolled his eyes playfully. “But now, I’m late.”

We stepped out of the shower and began drying off. “I’m going to grab us a couple bottles of water, and I’ll let Day know you’ll be down in a few minutes.”

He placed a soft kiss on my lips. “Thanks.”

I slipped on my jeans and grabbed the rest of my clothes and two-way radio from the floor. Walking into the living room, I tugged my shirt over my head. When the fabric cleared my face, I stopped dead in my tracks.

Day stood in the middle of the room. When our eyes met, he lifted a brow in question.

“Uh …” I tried to think of any plausible excuse as to why I walked out of Fallon’s bedroom half naked. I came up blank.

Day’s face was red as thoughhewas the one who had been caught in a compromising position. “Team is ready to go. Wanted to see how much longer Fallon would be.”

Panic started to set in. “He’s almost ready. Did you try to call me on the radio?” If he had, that meant the other agents on duty would know we were unresponsive.

He shook his head. “I knocked, but when you didn’t answer, I let myself in. I heard the water running and both your voices coming from the bathroom.”

“I can explain,” I grimaced.

He let out a breath. “You don’t need to explain anything. To be honest, I’ve suspected something was up for a couple months now.”

“You have?”

He chuckled. “I noticed how close you and Fallon had become, and after you told me you were seeing someone, it wasn’t hard to put two and two together. Besides, you two aren’t nearly as sly as you probably thought you were.”

I sat on the couch and rubbed a hand over my face. “Do you think anyone else has noticed?”

“Probably, but no one has said anything to me.”

“Look, I know I need to tell Tanner. Just give me some time.”

He held up his hand. “Hey, I’m not going to tell our boss. It’s no one’s business.”

“The agency probably disagrees with that.”

“Yeah, probably. But I also know how hard it is to juggle a relationship and this job. If you found someone you want to be with, I won’t judge you for it. If anything, you’re smarter than the rest of us. At least when you have to travel for work, you still get to be with your person.”

A smile spread across my face. I shouldn’t have expected anything different from my fellow agent, who was also one of my best friends. I knew I could trust him to keep our secret until it was time to come clean.

“Hey, handsome, did you let—” Fallon rounded the corner and then came to an abrupt halt. His gaze flicked between me and Day.
