Until death do us part.

I smiled. Definitely not something to explain just yet. “Go on, my little siren. What else do you really want to know? Beyond these frivolous queries. Ask me something more pressing.”

She swallowed, her gaze falling to my mouth before lifting to refocus on my eyes. “What do you have planned for me?”

Ah, there we were, the true cause for her nerves. “Everything,” I promised. “You’re mine, Kailiani.”

“For a week, yes.”

Oh, no, darling siren. For far longer than that. But her comment reminded me of the task I had in mind for her. “Yes, only seven days. Which means we should get right to the point. I’d love to know what that twenty percent counter acceptance earns me. Perhaps you could demonstrate for me now. Preferably with your pretty little mouth.”

I didn’t really care so much about the price as I did about her boldness in negotiating with me. I wanted to test that courage, see how far it went.

“That… I mean, I wasn’t, uh…” She trailed off, her gaze dropping to my lips again. “With my mouth?”

The waiter chose that moment to interrupt, something that would have earned him severe punishment in my world. Alas, humans were governed beneath a different set of societal rules.

“Just water for now,” I said before he could speak. “I’ll signal you when we’re ready for more.”

“Right, yes, sir.” He bowed a little, then straightened with a frown and wandered off.

I dismissed him immediately, my attention solely on the gorgeous being beside me. “Yes, with your mouth.”

“H-how?” she breathed, the single word music to my ears.

I glanced around the restaurant, noting how everyone was engrossed in their meals and conversations. “I doubt anyone will notice you slipping to your knees beneath our table, darling. Particularly considering the skirt skims the ground and hides everything from view.” I returned my eyes to her now widening ones. “Don’t you agree?”

“You want me to…here?”

“Consider it an appetizer,” I murmured just as our waiter returned.

Kailiani didn’t acknowledge him or the glasses he set on the table, too busy gaping at me. I ignored him as well, hoping to send a clear message.

Fortunately, he received it.

“What if someone sees me?” she asked after he walked away again.

“I sort of hope they do,” I admitted. “But you’ll be too busy under the table to notice or care about them anyway.”

“I… I…”

I cocked a brow. “You didn’t kneel for me the other night yet had the nerve to charge me an increased sum for our week together. I’d almost say it’s my due, wouldn’t you?” I meant it as a taunt, hoping to provoke the confident woman within.

The flare of her pupils said I’d hit the mark, while the flush creeping up her cheeks suggested my request aroused her.

And that alone had my cock hardening behind the zipper of my slacks.

“Unless that’s too daring for you,” I goaded her, tilting my head to the side, waiting for her confirmation. I saw the approval simmering in the dark depths of her gaze, could scent her sensual interest on the air.

Yet, she said nothing. A taunt in and of itself.

Then she looked around and slid to her knees beneath the table.

Oh, this would be wicked fun indeed.
