The Minotaurs were large creatures that wouldn’t be able to pursue her in those tight corridors.
Which suggested she knew they were nearby.
Unfortunately, however, the smaller tunnels were still very much part of the game. They were all part of the elaborate maze the Minotaurs had created for their potential mates.
Has she found any of their gifts yet?Ty asked, his pace slowing as he withdrew all the way to the tip.Do you think she’ll accept one?
“I don’t know,” I breathed, arching once more as he took me all the way to the base. “And she’s going the wrong way.” I knew the maze because I’d seen the plans when the Minotaur King had shared them with Ty.
That doesn’t mean anything, Ty replied. “She could still find her way,” he added aloud, his lips brushing my damp head.
“Yes.” It came out on an exhale of air as he continued his sensual torment by sliding his hand into my pants to cup my balls.
My head nearly fell back, but Camillia had just reached another crossroads, her exhausted features capturing my attention once more. She appeared utterly worn out, yet determined, her gray eyes reminding me of glittering metal. The torch had followed her, serving as the beacon it was to the Minotaurs tracking her movements.
“She’s just reached the point where she can correct her mistake,” I told Ty, my tone still deep with sensual need. “The quadrant crossing.”
A need he stoked by dragging his teeth along the bottom of my shaft.
He knew exactly which point I meant, the four-way path that led in completely different directions. She didn’t need to use any magic to find the right path, but she did need to use her senses and her wit.
She knelt on one knee and ran her fingers over the pebbles on the ground. The walls shook again as the Minotaur roared, but she ignored it and instead focused on the task at hand.
I relayed the details to Ty while adding,Good girl, in my mind.Good fucking girl.Fuck…
Ty was increasing his movements now that she’d neared the end.
He wanted me to explode with her victory, to feel as though I was standing right beside her, celebrating with her. All the while reminding me with his mouth whom I belonged to.
Cami sniffed the air, making my muscles tighten even more, the anticipation of her success mingling with Ty’s expert mouth.
Yes, that’s it,I thought, speaking to Ty, but also speaking to Cami.Keep going.
Cami leaned into one of the tunnels and closed her eyes as her nostrils flared.
The Minotaur would have left food as his gift, as they enjoyed cooking when in human form. However, when a female visited a Minotaur, she was usually on the menu.
Cami would have to find the food to prove herself worthy of the meal, regardless.
Like a mouse in a maze, Ty mused into my mind.Searching for the cheese.
I swallowed, my skin clammy with a combination of nerves and delayed gratification.
Are you going to give me a meal, little prince?Ty asked silkily.Give me something to swallow for you?
“Fuck,” I panted, watching as Cami took off down the correct path. My heart raced in a combination of victory and need, leaving me breathless.
I curled one hand into a fist against the volcanic stone table, my opposite one holding on to Ty as though he possessed the meaning of life.
He took me deep once more as several screams filled the nightclub, candidates losing their lives to the hungry Minotaurs. It was meant to distract me from the potential death circling Cami as she raced down the tunnel. There was still one more break in the path, one that would serve as her final test.
“How long has she been in the tunnels?” I asked Ty, noting the extreme fatigue slowing her down. I knew his magic could move time differently, making that initial part of her wandering through the inky maze far longer than it had appeared to me.
At least three hours, he whispered into my mind.
“That’s cruel,” I told him.
He sank his teeth into my base, making me jump.I am cruel, little prince. You know this.
