And who the hell is Vivaxia?
CHAPTER27
MELEK
If I hadn’t leftmy little angel right that instant, I would have used the silky silver rope to bind her. Pleasure her.Secure a knot directly over her clit.
Then I would have suspended her from above, tugged on all the right places, and elicited sounds from my little angel that she didn’t even know she was capable of making.
All while tasting her pert nipples, nibbling her lips and her tongue, and sensually tormenting her until she forgot how to breathe.
What have you done now, my prince?Ty’s question pushed into my mind like a wave of sensual heat.
My aroused state had likely piqued his interest. As well as the influx in power within our bond.
He absolutely knew what I’d done. But rather than immediately respond, I focused on my deal with Cami. Never mind that this part of the deal was something I would have done on my own, had I thought of it.
The placement of a seed that could change everything.
Similar to the seed I’d just placed in Cami’s mind regarding Az. Merely mentioning Vivaxia’s name would force him to show her what he’d been hiding all along.
Some meddling and a little blood vow,I whispered to Ty.
There was nothinglittleabout it, something Ty knew. But I liked to tease, especially when I was in a good mood.
Like right now. I still tasted Camillia’s ambrosia on my mouth.
I couldn’t wait to taste the nectar between her thighs.
Mmm.
Ty’s quiet power thrummed on the other side of our connection. He might have been angry, or he might have expected this of me.So you chose to take your bond to the next level? Is this a move to provoke me, little prince? After everything you already had me agree to?
Humming while I walked the halls of the Midnight Fae Palace, I curled my finger around one of the vines. It hissed at me but didn’t bite, mostly because I was too powerful even for the palace’s wards. Not because I was welcome.
Zakkai’s essence continued to pluck at me, like it always did when I walked these halls, just to remind me that he knew I was here. If he so chose, he could boost the palace’s power, rewrite it, and try to match my level. But he chose not to, which was the loudest message of all.
He permitted me here. For now.
That would change if Typhos decided to pay a visit without permission.
But I knew my king.
He wouldn’t storm in; that wasn’t his style. Ty respected protocol and much preferred order to chaos. He would also respect the deal he’d made to not pursue Ajax and Cami. But he could certainly find a loophole, given enough time, to extract Cami before the plan was set.
Hence, my timing.
Thislittledeal with my angel was exactly what I’d needed. What weallneeded to prevent catastrophe.
And, hopefully, to save us all.
Provoke you? No. Quite the opposite,I told Ty.I’m trying to help us.
I could almost hear his laugh on the other side. And how do you findthishelpful? Do share.
He wasn’t angry, which told me he’d expected me to do this. I’d already marked Cami as my intended, so strengthening what was already there had been inevitable.
My timing, though, was intentional. And that was likely what irked him.
