Daddy handed me a hot chocolate and I took the mug, blowing on it before I took a sip. It was good, and the velvety sweet taste helped settle my brain some.

Papa had an arm around my waist and his hand rested on my hip, stroking it like I was a scared kitten, which I supposed I was kind of acting like. “Are you ready to tell us what happened out there, Seb?”

I took another sip of my chocolate, not sure how to answer the question when even I was kind of shocked at my reaction to being asked to stop building my snow castle.

“I—I’m not sure.” I didn’t want to look up so I kept my eyes on my mug, but Daddy wasn’t buying it.

“Baby boy, I need you to look up, please. You don’t have to make eye contact, but I do want you looking up at me.” Daddy’s voice was still kind, but there was a sternness there, a tone I would call Daddy in charge.

“I don’t like leaving things half finished. Projects, I mean, or work. It makes my brain itch, and I feel like I should have worked harder and faster.”

Daddy arched a brow and shared a concerned frown with Papa. “Were you like this with your school work?”

“Not at first, but my dad kept on and on that Hawthorns only finish first, and that we always got the job done on time. He’d yell a lot if I didn’t finish school stuff on time, or was late for anything. It didn’t matter if there was a good reason for it or not. So I just started to make sure I finished everything on time. But then he’d be cross, and say I rushed things. I could never win with him.”

“Well, that clears a few things up, baby. Now I want you to listen to me, okay?” Daddy was still using his stern voice, and I tipped my face so I could see him properly to show him I was listening.

“First of all, this little hiccup is nothing, and in no way changes how we feel about wanting to be your Daddies, are we clear?”

I nodded, the elephant-shaped weight on my chest lifting fractionally.

“Okay. The next thing is, normally for disobeying Daddy there would be a punishment. A spanked bottom or corner time.”

I wrinkled my nose; those didn’t sound fun at all.

“And I don’t mean sexy spanks, I mean the sort that will have you remembering why you listen to your Daddies.” Daddy cupped my jaw softly in his palm and I lifted my eyes to his. “We are still getting to know each other, but I need you to trust that whatever we do with you, we do with your wellbeing at the forefront.”

“We pretty much dove in headfirst without checking how deep the water was.” Papa’s voice was a soft rumble behind me and I turned so I could face him more. “But you are the sort of boy that makes a Daddy just want to dive straight in, and that would be a disservice to all of us.”

My face dropped as Papa said we had to stop before we even really started.

The skin around Papa’s eyes crinkled as he grinned. “I see you took the wrong end of the stick, thinking the worst before I finished telling you what we are going to do.”

I shrugged. “I’m a worrier by nature.”

Papa kissed my forehead and laughed softly. “We can work with that. Your Daddy Roe is a bit like that too. His old job didn’t help.”

Daddy nodded, letting out a soft sigh. “It’s true. I saw some terrible things, and some very sad situations. It left a mark, and like you I can find myself worrying to excessive amounts. But luckily I have your Papa here to help balance me out, and you have both of us to do that.”

“Lilly says I spend too much time in my head,” I said.

“There is nothing wrong with being a thoughtful person Seb, and a little caution is a very good thing to have, especially when starting a relationship like ours. There are a lot of things to discuss to make sure there are as few misunderstandings as possible, but we are also human, and we will fuck up once in a while.”

I let out a shocked giggle at Papa dropping the f-bomb. “You swore.”

“I did. It’s the sort of thing Daddies are allowed to do.” He smirked.

“But not boys?” I asked, looking back and forth between them.

“I think this would be a good time to talk about expectations and limits. I’m going to take it that you know about safewords and kink negotiation?” Roman asked.

My cheeks heated and I nodded quickly. “The online group had a big talk about it, how we should always be upfront and honest with our play partners and be clear with our boundariesand hard limits. I kind of understand, but I don’t really know what my limits are, what things I want to try or not try. I’m like the kid in the sweet shop. There is so much to pick and try that I might end up with a tummy ache.”

Marco chuckled. “That is a pretty good way to describe it. We will go through it all with you, what we like and what we don’t, and it’s okay not to want to try something just because your Daddy or I may like it.”

“But how will I know if I like something unless I try it?”

“Good point. But this is also why tomorrow we’re going to pull out a checklist and go through some stuff you might want to try. We can all agree that Ageplay is a big yes, which is fantastic for all of us.”
