“We promise. Get some rest and we’ll wake you in an hour.”

I let out a happy sigh, surrounded by my Daddies’ warmth.

“Do I look okay?”I spun around in my bat onesie. I moved my arms so the black velvet wings flapped as I spun.

“You look amazing. Now come here and let me put your hair up, otherwise you know it’s going to get in your face and annoy you.” Daddy held his hand out and led me back to sit on the bed so he could put my hair up. I was so excited. Everyone was going to be here. I couldn’t wait to see Lilly’s costume.

Daddy huffed out a laugh, holding me still. “Sit still, sweetheart. You’d think with your sore bum you wouldn’t be so keen to wiggle around.”

I tipped my head back as Daddy pulled my hair into a loose bun. “Well, the training pants I have on are super soft and feel nice on my bottom.” I hadn’t known where to look when Daddy had brought them out. They had dancing dinosaurs all over them and were soft to touch. I’d seen pictures of training pants before and other Littles had talked about them online, but I’d never owned a pair myself.

At first I’d felt nervous when Daddy helped me pull them on but something about wearing them helped me regress even faster. My brain stopped worrying about all the nasty adult stuff and just wanted to play.

“Okay, little one, do you need to pee first?” Daddy was being very Daddy right now, and I just wanted to go play with Lilly and get to eat all the special food that we had for tonight.

“Can we go downstairs, please?” I pleaded. I really wanted to go now, and I didn’t need to pee.

Daddy narrowed his eyes at me but didn’t push it. I really didn’t need to pee yet. “All right. Papa will be waiting for us.Don’t forget your stuffies.” I flung myself back onto the bed, reaching for Mama Cass. I was going to introduce her to the stuffies in the play room tonight.

Daddy held my hand tight so I couldn’t run too fast down the halfway and fall over. I’d told him I would be super careful, but he seemed to think it would be safer if I held his hand. I didn’t mind. I liked holding his and Papa’s hands, and I loved when they carried me—but I had to admit, the shiny halfway floor looked perfect to slide along.

“I know it’s tempting, love, but there are too many things to trip over up here and we’d hate it if you hurt yourself. We will find the best hall for you to slide in, I promise.”

“Pinkie promise.”

“Of course, little one.” Daddy linked his pinkie with mine and shook it solemnly.

As we came down the stairs I gasped as the entry hall was full of people and a lot of them were strangers. But I saw Rhys in his Tigger PJ’s and his Daddy standing talking to Papa.

Even though I was tempted to hide behind Daddy, I didn’t. I wanted this. I wanted to get to play with the other Littles in the club.

Rhys waved at me and I waved back, not sure if I should go over to him. Papa solved that problem by calling Daddy and I over and pulling me up in his arms to hug me.

“You have to be the cutest baby bat I’ve ever seen. Club’s full of baby animals tonight.” I squeaked and flapped my arms and Rhys, standing by his Daddy, roared.

“Do our little ones know about the special visitor tonight?” Rhys’s Daddy asked.

I tipped my head to look at Papa. “What visitor?”

Papa gave a wink. “You’ll see soon.”

“Ughgh, no fair.” I slid from Papa’s arms and moved over to Rhys. His tiger costume was the coolest.

“I love your tail. It’s so neat.” I pointed to Rhys’s stripy tail which he swished by wiggling his bum.

“Your wings are awesome too.”

I held my arm out so Rhys could get a better look.

“Do you know what Lilly is coming as?” Rhys asked as he looked at my wings.

“Not sure. I know she was either going to be a prince or a dragon, but it’s Lilly, so maybe she will come as a dragon prince.”

Rhys cackled at my answer.

Soon we were talking to the club’s other Littles. I saw Sam standing at the main door. He was dressed in a dark suit and looked very handsome. I waved to him.

“Daddy.”
