He appeared relaxed and content, but I suddenly felt like I should hide from him.

“You seemed like you needed to work something out,” he said. “I hope it helped.”

There it was. Zach missed nothing.

“Just frustration from my job.”

He shuffled up the bed and finished his wine. “The client still giving you hell?”

“Something like that. It’s complicated.” I found my briefs and pulled them over my hips, hiding my softening cock.

“Hm. Is he hot?”

The question threw me. “He’s an alpha.”

“So?”

I let my gaze trace Zach’s pliant form, all soft angles, smooth skin, and drying cum smears. “I’m into omegas.”

Zach narrowed his eyes at me. “You can still tell if an alpha is hot, though.”

“Yes.”

“Yes, you can, or yes, he is?”

“Both.”

“What makes him so frustrating?”

I sighed and stretched out on the bed, my feet hanging off the edge. As I looked at the ceiling, I noticed the lamp was dusty, and it bugged me. “He’s unpredictable and moody. Difficult. He does stupid, risky stuff and expects others to clean up after him. He’s an incorrigible flirt and a provocateur. And he thinks my job is to entertain him.”

“And isn’t it?”

“No. I’m his bodyguard.”

“Wow. That’s so sexy.”

I chuckled. “Not really.”

“This hot client, is he the reason why you needed to fuck me into next week?”

“Sex works like stress relief, doesn’t it?”

“It does.” I could hear in his tone that he wanted to say something else. But he remained silent.

I closed my eyes. Maybe all I needed was a good night’s sleep. “I’m not usually attracted to alphas.”

“Not usually? That’s not the same as never.”

“I can’t be attracted to a client. Alpha or omega.”

“It’s not something one can decide, is it?” Zach asked, his voice gentle.

“Maybe not. But I do believe in willpower.”

He was quiet for a while. Then he rolled to his side and caressed my bicep.

“Well, I’m here when you need me. You can take your frustration out on my ass every Sunday.”
