He captures my lips, drinking me in like a fine wine. I feel drunk on these boys. When he releases me, I’m warm all over. “School now.”
CHAPTER 40
The Trap
Luke
Slow isn’t working for me. Not when every day our girl chooses to torment us with flashes of skin and color on her already gorgeous lips. It makes me want to escalate things and soon, but I know I shouldn’t.
It’s a matter of control and I’m supposed to have it, but Harper shreds it. Every time we kiss, I need more from her. Yesterday in her room, when I had her spread on my lap, I could have eased my cock into her and she wouldn’t have complained.
I’m not sure how well that would have gone over with the guys, given our plans, but at least one more boundary would be gone. The biggest one, her virginity.
I glance up at the clock. It’s almost the end of third period. Almost time for lunch, and I don’t have a plan. Our girl is frying my brain. And I’m not the only one feeling the effects.
The other guys feel it too. We need a plan for this weekend. We need to make her ours fully. She’s had enough time to adjust to us. She’s amped up for us too.
I need to punish her and make her walk around in that short skirt without her panties on. Or I can give her another choice. A more pleasurable option, or take something away.
The bell rings. I grab Eli on the way to the cafeteria. “We need to punish her.”
“Fuck, man. She hasn’t done anything wrong.” Eli shakes his head, but he gives me a sly smile. “I’m all for punishing her, but she has to disobey us.”
“Then let’s find something she’ll refuse to do.” I rub my hands together.
“Cafeteria?” Eli nods down the hall.
Harper hates the cafeteria. She hasn’t been in it all week. She’s always spooked as hell to even enter it. It’ll be perfect to catch her disobeying.
“What’s the plan?” Eli asks as we head for our table.
Those who sat near our table scatter. By the time we’re all seated, more people will be in the cafeteria knowing that the horsemen and their girl will be in attendance. They haven’t had a show all week. But today…
Caden and Jack follow our girl in, their eyes focused on her ass in that small skirt. She’s gone from invisible to a fucking tease.
“I don’t have a plan yet.” I watch her, waiting for her to meet my eyes. Those brown eyes lift to mine. I can’t resist smiling at her, and she hesitates with her next step. Her eyes widen. Not so cocky now. Caden doesn’t stop. He wraps his arm around her to bring her to our table.
She’s been so obedient. So careful not to get punished, especially after Monday.
Caden sits beside me and tugs Harper down on his lap. She starts to move to the side, but he holds her hips.
“Stay.”
She glances over her shoulder at him and that defiance flashes in her eyes for a hot second before she shrugs. She takes out two sandwiches and two bags of chips and scoots one set toward Caden.
“Thanks, little nympho.”
Eli offers Harper an apple. She takes it and glances at me. Her eyebrow goes up, as if she’s trying to figure out what I’m searching for. Can she tell how much I want and need to punish her?
Jack sits back and watches all of us like we’re a play put on for his amusement. I glance around the cafeteria. Most people are chatting quietly while everyone tries to keep an eye on our table without being too obvious.
I have to decide whether or not I want to put on a show. I’m all for punishing Harper, but it’s also nice that she seems more comfortable with us. We just got that back. I don’t want to break the trust that’s building.
The guys and I talk about the game tomorrow. Eli glances over at me now and then, probably wondering what I plan to do. The problem is I don’t want Harper uncomfortable because of all the people watching. I want to push her comfort levels with us and only us.
Which means Plan B: get rid of the grounding myth.
Lunchtime is almost over when I say to Jack, “Take Harper home after school.”
