“Beckett!” Corvin roared loudly, snapping me out of it in time for me to pull out and come all over Kitten. My seed painted her stomach as her legs shook with the force of her orgasm. Her hands smeared my cum all over her torso, and I grunted in satisfaction. That was fucking close, but I couldn’t deny that she looked heavenly coated in my seed like that. I wanted Darius to come over and lick it all off, but not today.
Kitten’s lips curled into either a grimace or a smile, and the raging heat of her skin cooled with the sweat that coated her. Her eyelids fluttered a couple of times and then she drifted off to sleep, her fingers still curled in the sticky mess I’d spread all over her torso. I tried to convince my Beast to recede, but there was no chance. I gave up and lay down behind her, pulling her tight into my body until I could curve myself around her completely.
Pressing my fangs into the back of her shoulder, I scraped them gently over the place I knew I’d one day mark her. Where I would make her my Mate.
The sound of Darius reaching his release too made me lift my head—watching my co-Alpha pleasure our Omega was too perfect to miss. I met Darius’s eyes, and I saw the knowing in them. He knew what I wanted.
The sadness that pulled at the edges of his eyes broke my heart, but I couldn’t make myself release Kitten. No, I would take the consequences of this, but I refused to give her up.
The bedroom door opened, and I growled low in my throat, but it was just Cooper. His eyes widened as he saw me, in my Beast form, wrapped around a very naked, unconscious Kitten.
“What thefuckhave you guys done?”

COOPER
It had been hard, but I’d managed to convince Beckett to shift back into human form and go and take a shower. Corvin was dozing quietly against the wall. Darius was passed out beside Kitten, his hand wrapped in hers reassuringly, even though they were both asleep. Well, for now. She was so coated in Beckett’s cum, she was about to harden like a Christmas cookie.
After I’d gotten Beckett unwrapped from her, I’d grabbed a clean washcloth and some warm soapy water. She needed a shower, but this might do for now.
I touched her shoulder gently. “Kitten? Wake up—you need to wash this off before you turn crusty.”
One eye barely slitted open. “You do.” Then it closed again.
Um, no. I could not bathe a woman I didn’t know. I shook her arm, and she batted at my hand.
“Come on, woman. You’ve known me for three seconds. You definitely don’t want me rubbing on your naked body.”
This time, two deep brown eyes opened and looked at me. “Mate.” She yawned as my heart thumped hard in my chest at that single word. “You’re their mate,” she clarified, and I let out the breath I hadn’t even realized I was holding. She gave me another soft smile, her eyes drifting closed again. “So tired. You do it. I trust you.”
Well, if that didn’t make me feel like a gooey mess. I wasn’t done being mad at the guys yet, but man, this chick was getting under my skin already. She was snoring gently by the time I shook myself out of my stunned stupor, lifting the cloth from the warm water and squeezing it out.
I slid it across her stomach first, wiping away the bulk of the stickiness. She seemed to have smeared it all over her torso, because there wasn’t an inch of her that didn’t have the light sheen of Beckett’s seed making her glisten gently in the moonlight. I tried to remain impersonal and not pervy as I ran the washcloth over her breasts, rinsing and warming it again in the hot water. Making sure to get up beneath her chin—and dammit, did he even get it in her hair?—I made sure she was as clean as I could make her without being wildly inappropriate. She was going to have to decrust her own pubes when all this was over.
I realized she was making a soft hum of contentment, and that warm feeling that had been growing in the bottom of my gut suddenly burst to life.
Dropping the washcloth back in the bowl, I smoothed back her wild hair with my hand, taking in her features properly. Her skin was like captured moonlight, paler than any of ours. We were a product of Maxton through and through. It automatically set her apart as an outsider, but I couldn’t help but admire how creamy it looked beside Darius’s light tan, and the way her full lip jutted out a tad when she slept, like she was pouting. I wanted to rub my thumb over its pillowy softness, but that would probably be too far.
Actually, what I really wanted was to see those lips wrapped around my dick, but that was way, waytoo far.
“She seems precious somehow, doesn’t she?”
I turned slightly until I could see Corvin in my peripheral vision. I gave a sharp nod, because I wasn’t mad at the woman in front of me. No, I was mad as hell at them.
“It’s a bit of a disguise, really. She’s tougher than nails. She doesn’t need me or you; she’s been living just fine without anyone for most of her life. I saw her chase down a fucking deer once. On foot, in her human form. She knows that forest better than any man, woman or child in this goddamn town.” He moved closer until he was staring down at her. “I want her to want us, Coop.”
“Us? You don’t get to make those decisions for us all, Corvin. You or Beckett.”
The Omegas on the cushions stirred, and I threw Corvin an aggravated look. Standing up, I thrust the bowl of now lukewarm water at him. Then I grabbed a light, fluffy blanket and pulled it up over both of them. With one last longing look, I uncurled from the kneeling position and moved softly to the nest door. Corvin, smartly, followed behind me. We made it downstairs and back into the kitchen before my anger boiled over.
As soon as he put down the bowl, I turned around and punched him in the jaw. “You fucker! How could you keep this from us for so damn long?” I hissed. I didn’t want to wake Darius or Kitten. “Did you see the hurt on Darius’s face? Did you even give a damn about anyone but yourself?”
He bared his teeth. “What did you want me to do? Leave her out there to suffer? Be preyed on by other Manix in frenzy? You know what they would have done. How can you look at her and think that was the right alternative?”
I growled low. “I would never even suggest that, and you know it. I would have been the first one to go and rescue her if Darius and Ihad known she even existed.”
His cheek wasn’t bruised from my hit, but I still felt guilty. I swiped at it with my hand, and he didn’t even flinch.
