Ace pounded into her, hard, fast, and deep. It was just the way Daisy liked it. She watched him working himself in and out of her. His cock was slick with her juices and she loved the way he felt inside her. A sheen of sweat began to form on their skin as they worked themselves into a frenzy.

“Touch yourself, baby. I’m not going to last much longer. Make yourself come again,” Daisy immediately obeyed his demands. She reached down between them and after wetting her fingers in the juices seeping from where they are joined, began to work her clit with an intense effort. Within moments they were both coming. Ace threw his head back with a half growl-half moan. He stiffened. The veins popped out on his neck. Daisy too was moaning and called his name loudly. She was lost in the moment and had forgotten all about Straw.

Ace collapsed on top of Daisy being careful not to crush her. He was panting and her hair flew out around her head where he was resting his face in the crook of her neck. When he had gotten his breathing somewhat under control, he rolled Daisy on top of him. He was still semi-hard inside her, but he could feel their joint release leaking out of her onto his balls. He knew most people would think it gross or uncomfortable, but he loved to feel the evidence of their love making.

“Daisy, I thought I had lost you,” Ace’s voice was thick with emotion. “Please promise me you will not put yourself in danger like that again.” He stared into her eyes as he silently prayed, she would agree.

“Ace,” Daisy began. “I was so afraid I had ruined what we had. I am thankful that I was able to help Marley, but if I had never gotten to see you or be with you again, it wouldn’t have been worth it. I love you. More than I ever imagined I could love someone. I will not put myself in danger again. I won’t be volunteering to go overseas or into the combat zone. I need to be with you, to wake in your arms every morning and to fall asleep by your side every night. I want to fill our house with children and love.”

Every muscle in his body relaxed for the first time in a week. Ace felt so relieved. He wanted all those things, too. Holding Daisy in his arms, he felt complete and happy. He had been afraid she would never be ready for all the things she just said she wanted. He began right then to make plans for their engagement. He wanted to marry her, make an honest woman out of her, and then get started on their family. But first they had to get through the debriefing with the FBI in the morning. He was so ready to put all of this behind them and move on with the future.

Chapter 25

The next morning at 0900 both Marine teams along with Daisy, Marley, and Luke arrived at the police station. The FBI agents were lined up and waiting for them in the large conference room. Hawk led their entourage into the room with confidence. Daisy could see that Marley was very nervous. Her hands were trembling and she looked pale. Daisy reached out and took Marley’s hand in hers. Marley looked up to meet Daisy’s gaze. Daisy gave her a reassuring smile.

“Don’t worry, Marley. This will be over soon,” Daisy tried to calm Marley’s nerves. She was a little nervous too, but with Ace at her side she felt safe. The men helped the women get settled in chairs around the large table.

“Alright, Ladies if you will follow me. We need to speak to the women individually,” A tall black-haired man informed the group as he entered the room. Ace and Hawk immediately began to protest. Marley looked over at Luke with fear in her eyes.

“Calm down everyone,” the man interrupted. “I’m sorry I should have introduced myself. I’m Cruz Livingston with the FBI. I am from Texas. I was called in to consult on this case as we have had dealings with this group before.”

Luke moved toward the man to greet his friend. The men shook hands.

“Cruz I’m glad you made it,” Luke gives introductions. “This is my sister, Daisy Robertson and her boyfriend, Ethan “Ace” Gibson.” Luke pointed to Daisy and Ace. They both stood and greeted the newcomer to the room.

“And this is my girlfriend and client, Marley Morrison,” Luke continued as he moved back to her side.

“Nice to meet you ladies,” Cruz responded. “I’m sorry I startled everyone, but it’s standard procedure to interview the witnesses individually.”

“While I appreciate your standard procedure, it’s our standard procedure to debrief as a group,” Hawk explained. “I am Captain Jordan Jackson, but call me, Hawk,” Hawk walked up to Cruz and shook his hand. “These women have nothing to do with this group of terrorists other than to have the misfortune to get taken hostage by them.” The men were all on edge and tension was thick in the room. Everyone startled when there was a knock at the door.

“I’m sorry to interrupt, but there are a couple of men here that say they have information that you need to know.” The policeman related to the room.

“Please send them in,” Cruz instructed the policeman. Daisy looked up to see Beau and Rosco enter the conference room. They had a worried look on their faces. It took a few minutes for everyone to get settled down again.

“So, gentlemen. What new information do you have for us?” Cruz asked the men. Beau and Rosco shared a look before launching into their new information.

“We were in Atlanta working for a client when we stumbled up on a treasure trove of information,” Beau began. “Those men that Daisy took out are connected to a terrorist group that wants to cause mass causalities. They have implemented bombings in several countries around the world. We found a file cabinet in an old warehouse that had tons of information about their plans.” Beau looked to Rosco for him to finish telling their story.

“They were planning to bomb several targets in Washington D.C.” Rosco told the room. “They had the White House, Capitol Hill, and the Pentagon on their list of targets. They have someone on the inside that is feeding them guard schedules, passcodes, and fake id badges. Their goal is to finish the mission the 9/11 terrorists failed to succeed at. Fortunately, their plans were foiled when Homeland picked up, Rashad Mumbi. He was the man that had the bomb making materials. He had met with the men that took Marley just a couple days before he was apprehended. I think that is why Marley was targeted. They had their planning meeting at the Bistro. Marley was their waitress. The men assumed that Marely had overheard the conversation and turned them in.” The room was in a stunned silence.

“I don’t even remember those men,” Marley exclaimed. “They ruined my life and I didn’t have anything to do with them getting caught.” Luke reached over to console her as she began to cry. Daisy felt bad for Marley. She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

“I’m sorry to say, but I don’t think this is over yet,” Rosco continued. The whole room turned to look at him.

“What do you mean, Rosco?” Luke asked what everyone else was wondering.

“I read through every one of their files on the trip home,” Rosco continued. “They have an extensive organization planted throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. That’s not counting the members they have overseas. I don’t want to unnecessarily worry anyone, but we need to keep Marley under close surveillance, at least until this whole group can be rounded up. They sent out word about Marley, her name, address, and other personal information. They know the names of her extended family and their addresses as well. This whole terrorist organization will be looking for her and a way to get revenge, especially now that two of their ring leaders are dead.”

The team sat in silence as the implications of Rosco’s information was sinking in. Daisy looked to Ace. He took her hand in reassurance. He was now worried for Daisy, too. Ddi those crazies have Daisy on their radar as well?

“What about Daisy?” Ace asked suddenly. “Did you see anything about her in those files?”

“No, I don’t think they had time to alert the rest of the organization about Daisy before they were eliminated,” Rosco replied. Daisy and Ace sighed in relief. They were both still concerned for Marley, but at least Daisy wasn’t a target.

“Alright, thank you all for your cooperation,” Cruz said. “I would like to see copies of those files Rosco. It may help aid in our investigation.” The room began to clear as the Marine Special Ops teams got up to leave the room. Ace took Daisy by the hand and began to lead her toward the door. Daisy stopped to talk to Luke, Beau, Rosco, and Marley before leaving.

“Luke, what are we going to do?” Daisy asked. Marley was looking at her with pleading eyes. “Marley can come to my house in North Carolina. They don’t know about me so maybe she would be safe there.”
