Nope. Luka clicked the phone off again and gave up.
He took his time eating the cookie, wondering for a moment if he had imagined all of what had happened. He opened their chat again and reread it, saved the photo Reno had sent him to his camera roll, and decided he wasn’t crazy after all—Renowasflirting with him. Then, he gave up waiting for a response from a man who had clearly fallen asleep.

When his alarmwent off at 8 a.m., Luka rolled onto his side and pressed snooze on his phone. Michael jumped up onto the bed with a meow and August’s door opened and closed, followed by the bathroom door. It must have been Iris; August never woke up this early.
He closed his eyes again, content to wait for the next alarm and for Iris to be done with the toilet before he removed himself from his soft bed and his softer cat, who had lain on his hip and started to purr. He idly petted him, going over last night's events and trying to make sure he remembered everything correctly. His chest felt bad, and it would be annoying when he took hismorning run; he swore to himself to smoke less. By the time the next alarm went off, Luka was awake but bleary, and he finally had the courage to check if Reno had texted him.

I hope you're sleeping well!
???? ?????
Luka blinked his eyes several times, opened the image attachments, and promptly knocked Michael off of his bed. The cat ran away and Luka propped himself up onto his elbow, flipping through the three photos, immediately wired.
The first was cute, innocent even. A sleepy Reno with bedhead, looking extremely apologetic, his bottom lip jutting out adorably. A blanket surrounded him, and he was clearly lit by the phone’s flash in the dark.
The second and third made Luka’s gut drop. The only way the picture could possibly be filthier was if Reno’s cock had been out. They were bathroom photos, one taken in the mirror and the other with the front camera. In both, he was only in a towel. In the mirror selfie, he had his body elegantly turned to show off every slope and crease of his bare torso, his hair ruffled like someone had just grabbed it. The front camera pic had a finger in the mouth, on the tongue, his tongue ring on display and his cheeks pink. In both of them, his dick print was visible through the white towel and Luka zoomed in on it, muttering to himself, “There’s no fucking way.”
It was probably a very good thing Luka didn’t receive those last night; he wasn’t sure what he would have done, probably embarrassed himself. He was still close to embarrassing himself now, even after sleeping off the booze.

Holy fuck aksjfhfhf good morning to you too
I forgive you… How could i not
He jumped up from his bed and ushered Michael out of the room then locked his door to crawl back into bed. And, even after shoving his hand down his pants while flipping between Reno’s pictures, his morning run was double the usual length. When a sleepy August asked him over coffee why he was so sweaty when he got back, he couldn’t form a good reason without his brain short-circuiting. So, he left to shower without admitting a damn thing.
“Damn, the line goes all the way around the block,” August said as they pulled up to the venue in their Jeep. “I hope we don’t have to wait in it.”
“VIP usually gets let in first. So, I might not have to. I don’t know about you, though.”
“Don’t leave me out there with those fangirls,” August complained as they drove to the parking garage.
Luka scoffed. “There’s just as many men in that line, too. Plus, Hearts n Hell has a mostly male fan base. Voltage is pretty evenly split. You’re just used to dealing with me.”
“Are you calling yourself a fangirl?” August pressed the button at the gate for the parking ticket before driving into the garage. “That’s a new one from you.”
“No, but you see the stuff I interact with online, it’s mostly that side of the fandom. As insane as they are, they give my art the best traction and share the best photos from the tours.”
August tapped their fingers on the wheel as they looked for a free spot. “I guess so.”
