“I don’t think that would help,” I hum, closing my eyes.

“Would you like me to make you a cup of coffee,” Poison asks, raising her brow.

“Yeah, that sounds good,” I hum, moving my head up and down.

Poison grabs a cup from the shelf and pours the coffee. Then the door opens, and Demon stands with his hands on his waist.

“You girls were out late, and our informant states that you were at the Dreamhole. I hope that the informant is wrong! The rival MC, Wicked Warriors MC, owns the Dreamhole! Do you know how dangerous that is,” Demon growls, lowering his eyelids.

He's fucking pissed off.

I’m fucking sick, and I push off the recliner and run into the bathroom. I barely make it in time and I don’t feel good.

“What the fuck! Halo, what’s wrong,” Demon says, running into the bathroom and holding my hair.

“I’m not feeling well,” I hum, closing my eyes.

“I’ll get Slash to check you out,” Demon says, holding me up from my waist.

“It’s just a stomach bug,” I hum, holding onto him.

I walk over to the sink and wash my face and mouth. Now I feel a lot better, but I'm a little embarrassed.

Yeah, it’s one thing that Demon is my boyfriend, my man, but it’s another to see me all fucking gross.

Fuck!

Demon helps me walk back into the living room. I sit on the recliner.

“It doesn’t fucking matter if it is. I need you to be taken care of,” Demon hums, resting his hand on his waist.

“Here’s some water,” Poison says, handing me a glass of water.

“Okay, have Slash check me out.”

Slash is a Brother who takes care of the MC's medical needs. He’s a Vet, a Military doctor trained by Uncle Sam. So, he’s good, and the MC has everything he needs to attend to the Brothers, even operate. Anger, another Brother, is an ex-army Nurse. He helps him out when it gets busy.

“I’ll bring him up,” Demon says, leaning to kiss my temple.

A few minutes later, Slash checks me out and actually takes a blood test.

Fuckers!

“I’ll have the test results in a few. But she appears good, but a thorough checkup would be good,” Slash says, looking at me.

“I’m good; it’s just a bug,” I say, moving my head from side to side.

I don’t want Slash to check me out so thoroughly.

Hell no.

“Thanks. I’ll come back in a few,” Demon says, looking at me.

“Right,” I say, pursing my lips.

Demon and Slash walk out of the apartment, and I just want to sleep.

“I’m hungry, so I’m ordering some food,” Cherry says, pulling out her cell phone.
