“Oh, come with us,” Roseanna says.

“Baby, would you like to join them,” Beau asks, smiling.

“Yes, I’m starving,” I say, nodding.

“Fuckintastic, let’s get gone,” Beau says, smiling.

We walk out to get some grub, and I want to see what Roseanna is now. She must be up to some shit if she dragged Roxanna here. My Roxy won’t come here, I bet she would never even think about it.

Yeah, Roxy won’t know about the Friday club party. It’s all Roseanna, and I need to see if it’s just fun.

“Oh, let’s go to the diner where I work,” Roxy says, smiling.

“Is it good,” I tease, pulling her closer.

“Yes, it’s really good,” Roxy says, nodding.

“Oh yeah, it’s roast, veggies, mashed potato special tonight,” Roseanna says, nodding.

“Fuck! That sounds like something I want,” Viper says, smiling.

“Fuckintastic! Let’s go,” I say, smiling.

We walk to the bikes, and I help Roxy on.

“Baby, hold on to my waist, and lean when I do,” I say, sliding the helmet on her head.

“Oh, okay,” She says, nodding.

I get on my bike and help her climb onto the back. She wraps her arms around me, and I turn on the bike. It roars to life, and I’m fucking thrilled. I’m going on a run with my Old Lady, and the tightness in my chest is strong.

I’m so fucking happy.

We ride out of the clubhouse parking lot and onto the street. We ride down the streets to the Grub Corner diner.

We pull into the parking lot and park towards the back. I turn off my bike and get off. I help Roxy off the bike and take off the helmets. I place them on my bike and I take her hand.

“I’m so hungry,” Roxy says, leaning into me.

“Let’s go inside,” I say, looking around.

“Oh, this place is good,” Roseanna says, sliding her arm in Viper’s arm.

I still need to talk to him and get the deets. I need to ask Roxy more about Roseanna. Maybe I can figure out what’s going on because my gut tells me that Roseanna is up to something.

We walk over to the booth in the corner, and the girls slide in. Viper and I take the ends.

An older lady walks over, smiling, holding a pad and pen.

“Hi, Lucy,” Roxanna says, smiling.

“Roxanna, it’s good to see you,” Lucy says, looking at us. “What would you like to drink?”

“I’ll take a Coke,” I say, smiling.
