Max’s smiling, and it’s like he gets it, like he knows what I need even before I do.

Then I spot it—a plush snow leopard, all soft and white with black spots, its big blue eyes staring at me like it’s meant to be mine. I pick it up, hugging it to my chest, the softness making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

“This one,” I say, grinning so wide my cheeks hurt. “His name’sFelix.”

Max nods, his eyes warm and soft in a way that makes my heart flutter.

“Felix it is,” Like says. “Good choice, Little One.”

I clutch Felix tighter as we pay and head back to the snow-ski, our bags stuffed with supplies and my new treasures.

I’m practically buzzing with happiness, like a kid on Christmas morning, and it’s all because of Max, because he’s making this feel so… right.

The coloring pens, the books, the blocks, Felix—they’re not just toys; they’re a piece of that Little side I’m starting to explore, and he’s helping me do it.

The ride back up the mountain is just as thrilling even though it’s up hill for most of the way this time, the snow-ski roaring through the forest, my arms wrapped around Max again, Felix tucked safely in my bag with the gummy bears and chocolate.

The wind is colder now, the sun higher, but I’m warm against Max’s back, my heart still racing from the toy store.

Halfway up, something makes me tap his back, my fingers urgent against his jacket.

“Stop!” I call over the engine’s roar. “Please, Daddy!Stop!”

Max slows the ski, pulling to a stop in a small clearing, the trees towering around us, their branches heavy with snow. The forest is quiet, the snow muffling everything, and it’s just us, alone in this winter wonderland.

“Everything okay?” Max asks, turning to face me, his brow furrowed with concern, his breath puffing out in the cold air.

“It’s perfect,” I say, my voice catching as I look at him. His face is all sharp angles and soft eyes, and I can’t help it—I lean forward, grabbing his jacket, and kiss him.

It’s passionate, desperate, my lips pressing against his with all the feelings I’ve been holding back—fear, excitement, that pull to be his in every way.

Max’s lips are soft yet firm, and he kisses me back, his hand cupping my face, making me feel like I’m melting into him, like the whole world is just this moment.

OMG.

I can’t believe this is happening.

It’s all so perfect…

But just as the heat between us is climbing, Max pulls back, his eyes intense but soft, a smile tugging at his lips.

“That was wonderful, Billie,” Max says, his voice rough with something that makes my heart skip. “But it’s a risk out here, even in the forest. We can’t stay in the open like this.” His thumb brushes my cheek, gentle but firm, and I know he’s right, even if I don’t want this moment to end.

“Okay, Daddy,” I say reluctantly, nodding, my lips still tingling from the kiss. “I’ll listen to you… this time.”

I trust him to keep me safe, to know what’s best, and that trust feels bigger than anything I’ve felt before. My body is still vibrating from the kiss—and I mean all over too. My manhood is hard, twitching like crazy, and I know it would only take the slightest touch of Max’s manly hands down there to make me quiver and totally lose all control.

But that’s not on the agenda. Not now that Mr. Guard has decided it’s too dangerous. And with that, Max revs up the snow-ski, the engine roaring back to life, and we power on through the snowy forest, my arms tight around him, Felix and my treats safe in the bag.

I’m Billie B, pop star prince, but right now, I’m just Max’s Little, and I wouldn’t trade it for all the stadiums in the world.

Chapter 12

Max

The blizzard hits hard by mid-afternoon, the wind howling outside the cabin like a pack of wolves, snow piling against the windows until the world beyond is just a white blur.

I’m standing by the hearth, stoking the fire to keep the chill at bay, but my eyes keep drifting to Billie, sprawled on the thick rug in the living area…
