Lila arched her back up to me, crying out as I continued to suck and fill her with my power. Her hands clawed into my back, the pain of her nails in my flesh encouraging me. I released her and smeared the blood over her skin before dipping back in and licking her clean. I smiled as the outline of my bite glowed a bright red against her dark brown areola. It would be there permanently, and I hoped she didn’t regret being tied to me.
“Thank you,” I whispered.
She closed her eyes and smiled, wiggling under me. My fingers went to her exposed pussy, and I rubbed over her clit while biting into her other breast. She was flooding for me, and I plunged two fingers into her with ease. She shook beneath me as I continued to suck and push and flick. My mind was nearing numbness, worshiping her body and floating into my own high. Just the taste of her blood was intoxicating. My body ached to be inside of her. I couldn’t wait.
I didn’t clean her up this time when I released her breast. The sight of blood dripping from her tits only made me harder. I yanked down my pants, not bothering to remove them, and speared into her tight core. I pumped into her slow and hard.
She pulled me closer to her, and I felt her tongue on my shoulder as I continued to thrust. Soon a dull pain replaced her smooth tongue. “Harder, baby. Taste me,” I said in a low voice.
She wasted no time and tore into my skin. Fiery pain greeted me, and I could feel my warm blood trickle down my skin, exciting my nerves. It felt glorious. The piercing of my skin, the taste of her blood still in my mouth, the feel of her warmth surrounding my dick, her covered in blood.
All of it set my insides ablaze, and soon I exploded, filling her with shot after shot of my cum. She shivered under me, squeezing me between her legs. I loved feeling the pressure of her surrounding me in every way. I leaned in and licked every speck of blood off her, going into another body-shaking orgasm from the taste. She tried to heal the bite she gave me, but I stopped her, relishing the throbbing pain.
I pressed my forehead to hers, both of us panting from the physical exertion. “I fucking love you. Don’t leave me again.”
She stilled, searching my eyes, and for a moment, I mentally kicked myself for being so emotional. I had said too much. Put too much pressure on her.
She gave me a wide grin, placing a cold hand on my chest. “I love you, too. Damn it.”
I laughed. I’d take that admission of love, but I noted that she didn’t agree not to leave.
CHAPTER28
YOSEF
Ileaned back in my chair, listening to Lila tell the king and queen and their closest advisors about not only her time in Nodoor but about her true identity. The night before, I’d admitted to them that we had hidden Lila. They were the only ones who could approve her getting home, and I figured after all she’d done to help us find the Nodoorian hideout with our people, that would earn some clemency. They hadn’t said they would do anything but instead, requested to meet her again.
And now we were in their meeting room, discussing what would happen next.
Lila looked down at her hands, which were clasped tightly together. I could feel her nerves bouncing around like a trapped fly. We had no guarantees that the court wouldn’t just lock her away for her deception. If she was really part dragon, that made her less human, and I hoped they would be more accepting.
“I’m really sorry we deceived you,” Lila stated, looking at them with pleading eyes.
Queen Tunisa rested her chin on her fist, elbow balanced on the rectangular oak table. King Obram sat on the opposite end of the table, the rest of us on the sides. “Well, I can understand the fear. We haven’t presented ourselves as particularly accepting of humans. Still, Captain Yosef and his people should have known better. Loyalty is of the utmost importance.” She cut her eyes at me.
She was right, and I was still awaiting my punishment. I’d made sure to only implicate myself in the deception and not Xander, Zelda, or Melina. While I hoped they would be able to forgive me, I was willing to accept my fate. I’d made the decision to hide her, and I made the decision to admit the truth.
Queen Tunisa looked back at Lila. “Still, we aren’t heartless. We know how scared you must be. To be teleported here… We need to find this Nigel. We’ve already put out a search. If he steps foot back into this kingdom, we will know. It’s only a shame we didn’t get all the Nodoorians, especially their leaders.”
While we’d contained soldiers and townspeople, many others escaped, and the knowledge that the Nodoorians had other forces hidden away only made our battle even longer. Still, we’d had a significant victory that damaged their forces.
King Obram tapped his chin as he studied Lila. He’d been curious about her since we’d shared her background. “Do you wonder why this Nigel sent you to this city instead of to Nodoor?”
Lila nodded. We all wondered the same. I assumed it was a miscalculation.
“I don’t believe in coincidences,” the king continued. “I’ve been alive long enough to have heard and seen things.”
I rested my forearms on the table, sitting beside Lila. “You’ve seen a human be transported here before by a non-fae?”
“Yes. Lila was fortunate to be dropped in our kingdom. But more importantly, you were fortunate to be found by Yosef and Xander. I don’t think that was a coincidence. Dragon connections are hard to understand, but they run as deep as an omega and alpha bond. When Nigel mistakenly sent you to our land instead of Nodoor, your dragon side pulled you to those who had a connection to another dragon. Yosef and Xander.”
I thought about that. To this day, I could not understand why we had stopped. What had pulled me to even look across the road to find our Lila. It was as if we were being pulled by a string to move in that direction. She’d always felt familiar. Had it really been her dragon side?
“There are no other dragons in this vicinity. Had you gone to Nodoor as intended, Luca would have found you, as he eventually did. It seems being part dragon has saved you twice.”
Lila rubbed the sides of her head, seemingly confused. “I don’t understand any of this. Until a week ago, I didn’t even know I was part dragon. Perhaps I can learn more about my dragon side if I could go home?” She implored them with her eyes, lips pouting.
Queen Tunisa gave her a tight smile. “Melina told us how you protected her. Zelda did the same. And although you had your own motivations for escaping, it still helped us, and Luca said you made a point of him not fully leaving so that the town wouldn’t disappear. Your quick thinking allowed our soldiers to move through the cloaking magic. So, we thank you.”
